Hope That Does Not Disappoint

I used to hope for something that I really wanted to happen or
for some things that I want to have in my life.

I hoped for a better life, stable job, nice family, good health, prosperity.

But I cannot see the future, so I just kept hoping and

was trapped in a popular adage "Come what may"..

If it comes..Thank you God.
If it doesn't...of course there will be some disappointments somewhere.

I was lost in hoping.

And when I became too "weary" in that state.

I almost gave up hoping.

Again, it was a cycle. And I reaaaaaally wanted to break it.

Now, Jesus had changed me. He changed the way I "hope" for things to come.

He gives me good hope because I am His child..

I am favoured by God! And by His Grace , I know I'd live well !

Yeah, I believe my God is giving me a good future!

A blessed and quality life where I can blog and twit all day all for His Glory!

It doesn't matter where I am today. Whether I am just renting a room here in Singapore.

Or my mom is outhere in Cebu renting her own place too.

Or I only have a hundred $ on my atm...it really doesn't matter at all.

Because it is just temporary.

I am in His hands now. And I believe God will see me well, take care of me,

and protect me.

I'm gona keep claiming on that.

So make a way!

Read on...and have a powerful Wednesday!!

"Hope That Does Not Disappoint"

Romans 5:5
5Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Today, we express hope as if we can’t be sure what will really happen. We say, “I hope I will win that prize. I hope it won’t rain tomorrow. I hope everything works out well.”

But “hope” in the Bible is a confident and positive expectation of good. God wants you to have a confident expectation of good because as His child, He favors you. Because Christ is in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27), you can expect the glory of God to shine into every area of your life, including your family, job, ministry, health and finances!

God’s Word says, “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” You may have experienced disappointed hopes, but there is a hope that does not disappoint when you are conscious of how much God loves you. It is a hope that springs from the heart of God, who loves you very much.

It is interesting that the first mention of the Holy Spirit in the book of Romans is tied up with the love of God. The book of Romans is considered foundational for Christians. Could it be that the first thing the Holy Spirit wants to do is to establish in our hearts that God loves us? Many people think that the Holy Spirit has come to teach us about power. But the truth is that the Holy Spirit has come not to reveal the love for power, but the power of love!

My friend, you may have just lost your job. But if you can say, “Jesus loves me this I know,” you can also say, “I believe that I will get a better job tomorrow.” Your girlfriend may have just left you for your best friend. But because you can say, “Jesus loves me this I know,” you can also say, “I’ll meet a better girl.”

When you believe that God loves you, you will have a positive expectation of good. You will have a hope that does not disappoint. So be careful what you hope for because you are bound to get it!

I Speak In Tongues

There are moments in my life that I am blank.

I couldn't think or don't know what to do or say
about a certain issue or circumstance in my life.

I don't know how to deal a problem.

I am so helpless, that even if I pray I feel so defenseless.

I sought the Lord and asked if there is any way that I can do better than this?

Then He showed me how to speak in tongues.

At first, hearing other believers do it gave me a weird feeling.
But unconsciously, I know that it touched me somewhere because
now, I am so into it.

I speak in tongues when I walk. Hey! it's better than yoga or meditation, you know~

I speak in tongues when I'm pissed off and losing a lot of patience.

I speak in tongues when I don't know what to think or say. It's better than groaning.

I speak in tongues when I feel so stressed out about just anything.

Do you know why I keep doing that?

Because....

It calms me down.

It refreshes me even if I do it for just a few seconds.

Even as I'm typing this right now, I am speaking in tongues.

I know deep within, the Holy Spirit is doing the job for me.

Learn to let the Holy Spirit do the job for you.

Read more from Pastor Joseph Prince...

"How The Holy Spirit Helps Us"

Romans 8:26
26Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The Holy Spirit is not inside you to point out your faults or nag at you when you do wrong. God’s Word tells us that He is inside us to help us in our weaknesses. In areas where we are without strength, He is there to help us. When we don’t know what to pray, “the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered”.

Now, don’t read the verse and say, “Well, I don’t know what I should pray for, and since the Holy Spirit makes intercession for me, I will leave the praying to Him.”

If the Holy Spirit, without our participation, makes intercession for us, then every Christian would be living victorious lives automatically! But we know that there are many Christians who don’t seem to be walking in the fullness of God’s blessings. So obviously, Romans 8:26 is not saying that. What is it saying then?

In the first part of the verse, the word “helps” is sunantilambanomai in the original Greek text. It means “to take hold together against”. Now, “together” means that our participation is required. In other words, the Holy Spirit sunantilambanomai or takes hold together with us against the problem.

So if you just sit back and don’t take hold of the problem, the Holy Spirit has nothing to “take hold of” with you. If you don’t pray, He has nothing to pray. If you keep quiet, then even if He wants to pray through you, He can’t. But when you release your prayer in tongues, you are actually allowing Him to pray through you. And He will take hold together with you against the problem, and pray the perfect prayer through you because “He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God”. (Romans 8:27)

And you can be confident that when you ask anything according to the will of God, He hears you. And if you know that He hears you, whatever you ask, you know that you have the petitions that you have asked of Him! (1 John 5:14–15)

See The Abundance Within You

See The Abundance Within You

Luke 17:21
21… For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

When you were younger, were you often scolded for not finishing all your food or leaving the lights and fan on when you left your room? Were you constantly reminded that there are people starving in the world, that electricity costs a lot of money and that money doesn’t grow on trees? Now, do you find yourself telling your child the same things?

We are naturally conscious of lack, but Jesus isn’t. Even in the midst of lack, He was always conscious of abundance. Remember the little boy’s five loaves and two fish? What did Jesus do when these were placed in His hands? Did He say, “What do you expect Me to do with so little?” No, His eyes were not on the natural, the visible, the lack. His eyes were on the kingdom of God where there is always abundance. So in His hands, the little boy’s lunch was multiplied, and 5,000 men, not counting women and children, were fed that day! (John 6:1–13)

God doesn’t want you to be conscious of the lack in your natural circumstances. He doesn’t want you to live by how much you earn or how much you have in the bank. Now, I am not encouraging you to spend foolishly beyond your means. I am saying that God wants you to be conscious of the abundance of resources in His kingdom.

“But Pastor Prince, where is that kingdom?”

As long as you have received Jesus as your Savior, that kingdom is in you!

Jesus said that “the kingdom of God is within you”. This means that the kingdom of God is not some physical place. It is within you and it is where the abundance of resources is. So if you want to experience abundance in your life, be conscious first of the abundance inside you. Then, what is inside you will become a reality on the outside.

Beloved, God doesn’t want you to be conscious of the lack you see outside you. He wants you to be conscious of the abundance within you because His kingdom is within you!

Jesus

Christ...never failed me yet.
There's one thing I know..
that He loves me so...:)

It's 11.11pm Singapore time my dear beloveds...I'm gona doze off early now.

An apple a day keeps the doc away??

I saw this ad while I was walking my out in one of the halls of Singapore Expo.

It reminded me back when I was in highschool, our teacher told us to eat apple everyday so we can avoid sickness and any other diseases. So I did.

I even eat lots of fruits and take vitamins to keep me healthy and in that way , I thought I'd be safe.

Well, that's what I thought.

For 35years carrying that belief, I still got sick.
It was a cycle. 2-3 months , I was well.
But after that it's either I will have colds, fever or cough then after several days of recovering , I was back on my feet again. Getting ready to get sick anytime. Lolx!

I got tired of that cycle. So I asked God ,is being sick a part of one's life? If it is, then there's something wrong somewhere. Perhaps being sick is a curse.

Then , fortunately God led me the way. He led me to my church, New Creation , with Pastor Joseph Prince as the leading pastor.

I have learnt that God doesn't want us to be sick!

Wooooow!

It's a good news!

Then I kept listening to Pastor Prince cds and learnt so much more.

Jesus, being the lamb , the sacrifice to us all has bore all our sicknesses and diseases. And that by His stripes I am healed!

This scripture has given me soooo much hope!

It's the answer to my question.

And now I am relieved.

Totally!!!

After receiving Jesus as my Healer, I can proudly
say that I have never been sick for 3 years now.

Halleluyah!!!

No colds,migraines, fever or cough!

From time to time I do get a lil headaches or bodyaches here and there but I guess it's normal.
Let me just say, they exist to remind me that I am still
human. But those lil headaches are just nothing compared to what I had been through few years back.

No big deal really:)

The world believes in
an apple a day keeps the doc away?

I say,

With Jesus , everyday. I am healthy - Forever!!

Thank you Jesus!!

Thank you for being my healer!

Death Strikes Everywhere

Today, the world mourns for the death of Michael Jackson "MJ" and Farrah Fawcett (of Charle's Angel).

Few weeks ago, some families of the Air France Flight 447 mourned for the shocking lost of their loved ones.

Some deaths were taken by a landslide.

Business men in some parts of Asia and US committed suicide due to the effects of the current global recession on them.

Generally, people are more curious of what happened before the death occured.

Me? For now, I wana know what will happen or what comes next after death.

Questions starts to pop on my mind.

Wondering what's it really like to be on the other side.

Though there will always be smart, intelligent people around that will
try to talk you out of it. No one can really find a definite answer.

It will always boil down into asking back again to "What's the truth?"

What's with Death?

Well, no one can really explain on how is it to be there.

But one thing's for sure. I don't want to end up in hell!

Some people would say, hell does not exist. But shall I turn my trust in them?

Have they been thru hell that they can conclude just like that?

Well, the Bible says Jesus went through hell. He was actually there and have described it.

REad what Jesus has to say about hell"

Matthew 13:42: "And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

Matt 25:41: "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels." This passage relates to Jesus' judgment of all the world.

Mark 9:43-48: And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched." The reference to fire is repeated three more times in the passage for emphasis.

Luke 16:24: "And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame." This is a plea described as coming from an inhabitant of Hell

There you go.

Whom shall I trust?

Whom shall I believe?

I have believed in men for so long that it really didn't do anything lasting in my life.
Everything were just temporary. Temporary securities, happiness and assurances.

For almost 3 years now, I have started to believe in Jesus...and all I can say is that
He has made me well!

He has healed , blessed and protected me soooooooo amazingly well!

So what do I need to do?

For now,
I wana make sure my soul is safe.

I am saved . I am protected. I am blessed!!!

and most of all,

I am redeemed by the blood of MJ....no , not Michael J. (the world's MJ)...My Jesus!!!

I can rest well on that FOREVER!

Thank you JESUS!

Look To The Word, Not Natural Facts

Look To The Word, Not Natural Facts

Numbers 21:9
9So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

"Pastor Prince, I know that God is my healer. But why is this sickness and pain still in my body?” If you have been looking at your sickness and pain all this while, stop looking at yourself and start looking at Jesus. Did He or did He not take upon Himself your sickness and pain?

God’s Word declares, “Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, and our pains — he hath carried them…” (Isaiah 53:4, YLT) Since Jesus has already taken your sickness and pain at the cross, then He cannot “untake” them. Even if you find it hard to believe that Jesus has paid for your healing, especially when the pain is unbearable, the truth is that it is still paid for. It is a finished work!

God is not saying that your sickness does not exist, nor is He asking you to pretend that it is not there. He is asking you to look away from the sickness, painful as it may be, and look to the truth that it has already been judged at the cross in the body of His Son.

Once, while still in the wilderness, the children of Israel were bitten by deadly desert serpents. The serpents were real. The bites were painful and deadly. So God told Moses to point the people to the bronze serpent put on a pole — a picture of the cross. (John 3:14) Bronze signifies judgment. In other words, the serpent — their problem — was already judged at the cross.

Those who kept their eyes on the bronze serpent lived. Those who focused on their wounds died. So stop looking at your sickness. Instead, look to the cross and see your sickness already judged in the body of Jesus. Surely He has borne your sicknesses and carried your pains! That is the truth of God’s Word. And His Word supersedes natural facts.

My friend, you let natural facts rule or establish God’s truths over your problem by what you choose to focus on. So decide today not to focus on the facts concerning your problem. Instead, establish the truth of God’s Word and Christ’s finished work over your problem — and live!

See The Miraculous When You Give Thanks

See The Miraculous When You Give Thanks

John 11:41
41Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

Jesus lived a life of thanksgiving. He always thanked His Father for what He had and for always hearing Him when He prayed. That was how He released miracles in His life.

In the story of the feeding of the five thousand (John 6:1–13), Jesus’ attitude was one of thankfulness. He took a little boy’s lunch of five loaves and two fish, gave thanks and had them distributed. He gave thanks for the little that was there and the little multiplied. Not only did the people eat as much as they wanted, there were 12 baskets full of leftovers!

So when you see the meager balance in your bank account, thank the Lord for what you have. That’s your “five loaves and two fish”. When you give Him thanks that He is your provider and the source of your supply, in spite of the little you have, your little will become much, with leftovers!

Even when faced with the impossible, the solution was still, “Father, I thank You…” When Jesus stood outside Lazarus’ tomb, and the people took away the stone that was covering the tomb, He did not see the situation as hopeless and impossible. He simply lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.” Then, He proceeded to call forth Lazarus, and the man came forth alive once more!

The raising of Lazarus, who had been dead for more than four days, was one of Jesus’ greatest miracles. And He accomplished this by saying, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.” He thanked His way to an awesome miracle.

My friend, the next time you find yourself praying, “God, please do this for me! Please give me...” stop! Instead, say, “Thank You God, for hearing me. And because You have heard me, I thank You that I have what I asked for.” And when you thank God, the little that you have will multiply. Your impossible situations will turn around to reflect God’s provision. And resurrection life will hit you!

Today’s Bread Is Not For Tomorrow

I am learning to trust God now whatever it takes.
This is going to be a good habit. I know.

Hebrews 11:1 says, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen.”

After several years of soul-searching, everything has come to fruition and
now it's time to use my Faith to someone that I know who is not going to fail me.

Yes! That is God..and Jesus!

It's better this way..

No stress and just fun!

Sharing another powerful message from Pastor Joseph Prince.

Enjoy and be blessed!

----Today’s Bread Is Not For Tomorrow----

Matthew 6:11
11Give us this day our daily bread.

Doctors have discovered that worry, stress, fear and anxiety can cause stomach ulcers, high blood pressure and other health problems. The Bible says that a merry heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones. (Proverbs 17:22) It also says that God wants us to prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers. (3 John 1:2)

When our church was much smaller, I used to worry a lot about my sermons weeks before I even preached them! I was so stressed that I developed symptoms in my body. Two doctors checked me on separate days and found my blood pressure to be very high. Other tests found traces of blood in my urine. I even had mild panic attacks. I believe that the devil was trying to undermine my ministry and destroy me.

But praise God, He delivered and healed me, and taught me not to worry. Today, the church is a lot bigger and I have learnt by the grace of God not to worry. The verse that set me free was this: “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow…” (Matthew 6:34) You see, if you worry about tomorrow, you are trying to live tomorrow today!

My friend, God does not want you to do that. Jesus taught us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread.” He did not say, “Give us this day our weekly bread.” God gives us daily bread, not weekly bread. God doesn’t give tomorrow’s bread today. And today’s bread is not meant for tomorrow!

This means that God wants you to live today and not worry about what will happen or what you have to do tomorrow. He gives you sufficient grace for today, not tomorrow.

“But Pastor Prince, I have a very important presentation to give tomorrow!”

Beloved, when tomorrow comes, the bread — provision and grace — will be there. I am not advocating laziness and inactivity. By all means, do your homework, but don’t worry about it. Just trust the One who wants you to give Him all your cares (1 Peter 5:7), and enjoy His peace and life today!

I'd still worship Him

I have faced so many Goliaths today pointing at me

and reminding me of how I sinful I am.

Yes. too bad. Someway or another,

I may have failed Him because I stumbled,

I got hurt,

I got mad,

I thought unjustly of others

I was pissed.

I lost my temper.

and I somehow, yes..I failed big time.

Funny thing is, this made me more conscious of Jesus' love for me,

thanking Him even more..

Thinking where would I be now if He didn't come to save me?

I thank God every moment of my life for sending His Son, Jesus

so I can be saved.

For now, no matter I do..

or no matter I would feel how unworthy I would become, I'd still declare.

"I am the righteousness of God in Christ!"

So many preachers today preachers a lot of scary things.

You will know that it's scary because it stresses you out.

I'd say, "Ruuuun!"

Just listen to what you heart needs to say...

I know He will guide you..because He is in you.

Let's stand in worship to our Lord and maker!

He has pointed me to the cross and now I'm soooo happy being stuck with it!

The Bear - Film by Jean-Jacques Annaud

"The Bear" is an unusually involving film about animals that will give you a fresh perspective on their world.

Like the cub, everyone of us is struggling and fighting over
the devil's attack in our lives.

Not knowing where to go or where to seek help from,
we run just to escape from it all.

But the devil is persistent in getting us back to his snare
and become his prey.

He is there to show off that he is strong and we are weak.

That we are nowhere to go and nothing else to do but eat his dust..

Sometimes we fight back...on our own strength we feel strong.

But if it keeps going on.. it becomes so sickening!

Then we get tired and we feel we must give up.

Yes, frustrations keep reminding us that it is just easy to give up.

...but humans as we are...it's our instinct to fight so we can

live and survive...

then one moment , we are back on our feet again..

to run...

again and again and again and again.

..until...

we manage to reach the end of our rope with struggles, pains, heartaches
and confusions..

This time

we can't do anything else with our own strength but groan.

But....

where everything else turns dark...there's a light somewhere.

And we reach towards that light. Because it's our only hope.

Our only help.

and suddenly, everything else feels so light..

..the devil flees right away because he knows it's God.

Yes!

we have come home ...

..to God, our only protector, our redeemer ,

our Daddy!

Feeling so lost, we cry out to Him and get drown in His love...

and finally we can say,

"There's no place like Home."

Redeemed From The Curse Of Sickness!

Everytime I am not feeling so well I just keep listening to this
sermon of Pastor Joseph Prince.

Of course, I pray and talk to God so He can make me well.

But like a child who knows her Daddy so well, I can just claim
whatever my rights and inheritance are by declaring,

"By JESUS STRIPES, I AM HEALED!"

I don't want to make void of Christ's sacrifice while He was beaten and scourged
more than 2,000 years ago just to make me whole.

He shed his blood for me, He suffered because of me and the diseases that's inside of me so today, I can live well, without any of those!

Jesus has redeemed me from all sicknesses,
and I will keep claiming it forever!

Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice..now I am whole again!

Enjoy and be blessed on this sermon once again my beloveds!

Good morning and good day world!

Praise You In This Storm - by Casting Crown

I love this song from Casting Crowns.
The lyrics speak of what's inside my heart.

Whatever storm that comes my way, I'd still praise Him.
Whatever heartaches, trials, difficulties, stress...

I'd still praise Him.

For what will it give to me, if I only praise Him
when good things are there to satisfy and please me.

I am glad , my faith has grown so deep.

Yes, I'm getting there. . . .

Standing on a rock, with all the storm shaking me.

But shall I fall?

Definitely Not!

For my rock is the Lord!

I was sure by now,God, that You would have reached down
and wiped our tears away,
stepped in and saved the day.
But once again, I say amen
and it's still raining
as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain,
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away.

Chorus:
And I'll praise you in this storm
and I will lift my hands
for You are who You are
no matter where I am
and every tear I've cried
You hold in your hand
You never left my side
and though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

I remember when I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry to You
and raised me up again
my strength is almost gone how can I carry on
if I can't find You
and as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away

Chorus

I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth
I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth

See Your Enemies Flee Because Of Jesus

Yeah, And He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
Ameeeeen!!!

See Your Enemies Flee Because Of Jesus

Deuteronomy 28:7
7“The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

Some people think that Jesus and the devil are always confronting and fighting each other. But when I read my Bible, I don’t see fights between the two. What I see is the devil having to flee whenever he encounters Jesus!

Consider the demoniac from the country of the Gadarenes in Luke 8:26–39. The demons in the man begged Jesus not to torment them or send them into the abyss, but to permit them to enter a herd of swine nearby.

You see, neither the devil nor his demons can stand before Jesus. They may be able to torment people for a while, but when Jesus comes on the scene, they know that that is the end of their stay. They will have to flee! All it took was just one word from Jesus, and the entire legion of demons had to come out of the man and flee into the swine.

As a child of God, you exude a spiritual fragrance which evil spirits can detect and which causes them to tremble. It is the life of Jesus inside you. And He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) That is why no curse, spell, accusation, scandal or destruction planned against you can succeed. Your enemies may come against you one way, but the Lord will confuse them and cause them to flee before you seven ways!

Jesus paid with His life to give you this victory over your enemies. After His arrest in the garden of Gethsemane, the Jews and Gentiles were united for the first time with one common objective: Torture Jesus and have Him killed. King Herod of the Jews and Pontius Pilate of the Romans were long-time enemies, but because of Jesus, they became friends. (Luke 23:12)

My friend, Jesus’ enemies were united and had “victory” over Him. But because He triumphed over them through the cross and rose again, today, your enemies will be scattered and you will have victory over them!

Faith Like Potatoes

I just finished watching a very good movie - "FAITH LIKE POTATOES"

It's not the usual hollywood type of movie.

It's something new. And refreshing.

It's a movie I feel that God has created for us believers to

look deeper into ourselves and see where our faith have taken us

in this journey called LIFE.

Though some parts of the movie is a bit dragging, it really doesn't matter

and I don't care.

For it is still like being with God for a little while.

With visions of hopes and miracles.

Angus Buchan has expressed it so well ,

"“The condition for a miracle is difficulty, however the condition for a great miracle is not difficulty, but impossibility.” - Angus

Angus faith in God has melted my heart.

The miracle I felt in this movie has leveled up my Faith.

And yes, it's great to have faith like potatoes!

Hebrews 11:1 says, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen.

Read the full synopsis and the story of Angus Buchan here.

If you haven't watch it yet. I recommend you grab a copy now.

Lonesome...

I woke up feeling a little bit lonely today.

I miss my mama back in the Philippines.

I miss my loved one.

I'm alone in my room.

Sometimes, it gets a little creepy and feelings of boredom, redundancy,

daily routines just suck the life inside of me.

I was trying to feel His presence to take refuge from it all.

And He led me to listen to this sermon from Pastor Joseph Prince.

Wana hear it out loud with me?

John 17:15

Your Only Battle For Today Is The Fight To Remain At Rest

This is one of my fave sermons from Pastor Joseph Prince.

I have always wanted that "REST".

The rest from what's happening in this mad, fallen world.

The rest from all my failings, stress at work, problems at home,
fears and hopes.

Rest from what my mind is trying to feed me...bad, desperate and sad thoughts.

Silly and naughty thoughts.

I tried different ways of getting away from it all like
going somewhere for a vacation, read good books, watch a movie,
listen to good relaxing music

But still...

"rest" seemed so unattainable.

Now, that I have Jesus...

everything is sooooo different.

Without much effort, I can feel that I am enjoying that "rest" in Him.

Amazing!

I cannot explain it, but it's happening.

Maybe that's what I get from listening too much on this sermon.

I have listened to this for like more than 10x already.

And everytime it got into me, fresh revelations always come along with it.

Start by listening now, and you'll see what I mean.

Be Anxious For Nothing

I'm living this way.

I have stopped thinking about too much on myself
and have given it all up to Him.

Everything!

My plans...

my future...

my fears...

my dreams.

It's all in His hands now.

I may have my own plans, but still...

He has the last words.

For the moment, I may not like it. But it's ok.

In the end, I'm sure I will be praising Him more

for all the coming miracles that He will be giving to me.

Thank you Jesus!

In this world, I may have nothing...

But with you, I HAVE EVERYTHING!!

Be Anxious For Nothing

Philippians 4:6–7
6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

When faced with a challenge or crisis, our tendency is to get all anxious about it. But God does not want us to react this way. He does not want us to be anxious about anything. Instead, whatever the problem is, He wants us to go to Him in prayer and supplication, telling Him what we need and thanking Him for the answer. When we do that, His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds from all worries, anxieties and fears.

“Pastor Prince, it is easy for you to say, ‘Be anxious for nothing.’ Try living with my husband for one day. Try disciplining that wayward teenager of mine. Look at the balance in my bank account! How can I not be anxious?”

Hold it! I am not the one who said, “Be anxious for nothing.” The apostle Paul said it. Yet, it was not him — he was prompted by the Holy Spirit. And when Paul wrote that, he was a prisoner under house arrest in Rome. He had been sent to Rome because he had appealed to Caesar regarding his death sentence. The Jews in Jerusalem wanted him to be put to death. (Acts 28:16–20)

Yet, under those trying conditions, he wrote these words: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”

My friend, if you are anxious or worried about something, remember those words. Let’s say that you are anxious about a huge debt. Go to the Lord and pray, “Lord Jesus, I no longer want to be anxious about this problem. I hand it over to You and ask for supernatural cancellation of this debt. It is in Your care now. You are in charge. I thank You for taking care of it.”

God is true to His Word. As you pray this prayer and cast your care to Him, you will find His peace setting your heart and mind at rest. So be anxious for nothing — let the One with whom nothing is impossible take care of it for you!

Air France Flight 447

I feel saddened for what happened on the Air France Flight 447.
Now, they found an airplane seat, a fuel slick and pieces of white debris scattered over three miles of open ocean marked the site in the mid-Atlantic Tuesday where Air France Flight 447 plunged to its doom..

I am expressing my sincere condolences to all the victims and
to their families and loved ones..

I pray that the Lord will guide and comfort their hearts
at this lowest points in their lives.

Be with them , Lord and let them feel your love.
In the midst of their broken hearts and dreams,
..just touch them..and find them in your arms.

I pray this, in Jesus name!

...my heart breaks..:(

Just recently,

I posted a blog on how flying really scares me off big time.
See, what I mean?

Anything really could happen.

Death comes to strike you, anytime , anywhere.

and even when you're just alone in your room , sitting, eating
or even sleeping.

Whatever went wrong, no one knows.

I am just glad, I know how to rest on this area and whom to go
to for protection.

God is my protection and I believe in His words when He promise on

PSALM 91

1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. [a]

2 I will say [b] of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."

3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence.

4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,

6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.

8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you make the Most High your dwelling—
even the LORD, who is my refuge-

10 then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;

12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation."

I use this scriptures everytime I am scared of something.
Like the spread of H1N1 flu and just protection from any danger or harm.

I recommend you use it too. Write it somewhere so you could take it along
with you wherever you go.

I wrote it on my notepad on my cellphone.

and here on my laptop.

It keeps me safe because I believe.

God's Word is God's Power!!
