Psalm 91 in Darker Days
Lately, I am feeling a little bit "blank."
During Christmas, there was a family of four who got a fatal accident, crashed their land rover in Johor Bahru and hit on another car.
Only a 4 year old boy survived with some bruises.
The rest got burned to death. 😭
That little boy. I was thinking, angels must have protected him.
So I did a little research on the family. At the back of my mind , I was already wonderin' whether they are Christians or not.
To my surprise. Yes they are indeed!
And to make me even more surpised... They come from my church.
Eventhough I don't know them personally, I am heartbroken. It is always so sad to see or hear our brothers or sisters departing this way.
But to know that they are in safer hands with Jesus, comforts me.
The guy is active in our church. When I saw his facebook wall, some of his friends are even calling him "coach".
Okay, I don't want to dig more of their personal life in here anymore.
You see, if you backread some of my posts, I am always encouraging you all to pray or at least say "Psalm91" everyday if you have the time. Or really make time for it.
We are on the last days and anything could struck us anywhere.
The devil is panicking already so he wants to take whoever he wants to. Especially those whom he thinks are gonna help and are bold to spread testimonies about the Gospel.
But lo and behold!
Our Jesus is the victor!
That's why the devil is shaking right now.
Halleluyaaaah!!!
Okay. Back to Psalm 91.
When I learnt that the couple are from my church.
I started to ask God this question.
"Lord, whatever happened to my bros and sis, it's only You who knows. But I need an answer why this happened And where is your promises of divine Protection on them?
Pause.
This question has been on my mind for days. And I really badly need an answer from Him.
This morning,
I opened my Bible to
1 Corinthians.
And I think, this is His answer.
In this mad-fallen world, we shall walk in dark valleys but shall overcome them.
Everything here is temporary.
The real world is upthere, in heaven with our awesome God and Jesus.
They may have lost their temporary lives in here,
but they gained eternal life upthere.
My bro John Mah, reminded me to always look up and not to see what's on my right or left.
Just like when Peter lost his focus and looked at what's going around him and started to drown when he took his eyes off Jesus.
Yes.
Questions like this can go on and keep bugging us.
It would help is you always talk it out to Jesus directly.
The spirit shall give you an answer.
His peace is the answer.
My condolences to the family.
Rest assured that your son, daughter and grandson are in good hands now with Jesus.
🙏🙏🙏🙏
There you go!
I still and will always encourage you all, to claim and say #Psalm91.
Only God knows what His plans for us now.
Let's just keep praising Him for it.
