When I meditate on the words of Jeremiah 2:5, I can sense that God's heart was deeply pained
during the time of the Old Covenant. He earnestly sought to be intimately connected with His children,
especially the Israelites.
I often find myself pondering why God had such an extraordinary love for Israel. I mean, He's the Creator of the entire
world, with its diverse nations, landscapes, and all. Nevertheless, He tirelessly extended His love and protection to
Israel. Yet, they turned to worship other gods.
Imagine putting your heart and soul into creating something, only for that creation to acknowledge someone else.
Picture having a project where you poured your passion into it, but someone else receives the credit.
It's undoubtedly a painful experience, right?
Now, let's fast-forward to today, under the New Covenant. God's no longer filled with sorrow or bitterness toward us,
all thanks to Jesus' sacrifice on the cross! It's remarkable how God's frustration with humanity led to the decision to
send Jesus as the atonement for our sins. Praise the Lord!
Jesus accomplished it all!
Here's the astonishing thing about our God: despite His frustration, He provided a way for us to be reconciled with
Him. However, some "Pharisees" or Christians still tethered to the law have obstructed this truth for those seeking
God. Even within the Christian community, some who believe they're without fault pass judgment on others for
different sins. They spread misconceptions about God, portraying Him as a stern judge who requires us to make
amends before blessing or forgiving us. But guess what? All of us on this Earth are already forgiven!
What we must do is simply believe in and accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, securing our ultimate,
eternal destination in Heaven with Jesus by our side.
Yes, just embrace Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and you'll be safe with Him. The Holy Spirit will continue
to work within you, just as He does in my life.
I'm convinced that I'm not here writing this blog because of my own efforts; it's the Holy Spirit's desire to share His
message through my life.
I've spent 52 years on this Earth, and now, I can confidently declare that accepting Jesus as my personal Lord and
Savior was the BEST DECISION of my life. I can't fathom going through a day without Him, beginning or ending my
day without Him at the forefront of my thoughts. Because Jesus is life! He came to give us life and to enable us
to live it to the fullest.
I still encounter fears, struggles, challenges, and financial setbacks in my life.
However, I believe these experiences serve as nourishment for my soul, drawing me closer to Him and allowing me
to understand Him better as my provider, redeemer, and healer. Just utter the word "JESUS," and miracles unfold.
He has rescued and redeemed me countless times.
I think this blog has grown lengthy enough for today.
God bless, and let's chat again soon. More to come!
