I'll Stand By You by Carrie Underwood

I love this song. I feel like God is singing to me gently...assuring me that no matter how many times I fail, He will never dislike or hate me.

I'll Stand By You lyrics

[Originally performed by The Pretenders]

Oh why you look so sad
The tears are in your eyes
Come on and come to me now
Don’t be ashamed to cry
Let me see you through
Cause I’ve seen the dark side too

When the night falls on you
You don't know what to do
Nothing you confess
Could make me love you less

I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you

So if you're mad get mad
Don’t hold it all inside
Come on and talk to me now
Hey, what you got to hide
I get angry too
Well I’m a lot like you

When you're standing at the crossroads
[ From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/c/carrie-underwood-lyrics/i_ll-stand-by-you-lyrics.html ]
And don't know which path to choose
Let me come along
Cause even if you're wrong

I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you
Take me in into you darkest hour
And I’ll never desert you
I’ll stand by you

And when, when the night falls on you, baby
You feeling all alone
You won't be on your own

I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you
Take me in into you darkest hour
And I’ll never desert you
I’ll stand by you

Oh I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you

Which Is Easier To Say?

We always want a miracle .
We want instant healing, success and good things
to happen in our lives.

That's why we pray.

But when God seems so distant and we feel that He has been
ignoring our prayers, our faith level starts to drop.

Questions like, Does God really exist?
Or Does God hate me? blah blah blah!

Then , we end up complaining to a lot of stuffs.

In the natural, that's how we are.

Part of being human.

But as you start to believe in God, not by sight or by miracles
that you seen and heard,

BUT BY FAITH..no matter what.

Everything will come into place and things around you will start to change
according to His plan.

You just need to get a little patient with it.

Impatient. -> also part of being human. And I call it "ugly" and
deteriorating to one's health if it exists for so long inside us.
It sucks our soul which prompts us to do things on our own effort then
we screwd up!

I do have a lot of prayers
and I want a lot of things to happen in my life right now.

And I do get a little so impatient sometimes.

Nudging Him everytime.

Well, that's me.

In time, I know He will change me.

For now, as I wait for His approvals and go signals.

I will keep myself in His Words.

Whether I have experienced the manifestations or not.

...because I know His promises are true.

Which Is Easier To Say?

Colossians 2:13
13And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,

Let me ask you a question which Jesus asked the Pharisees: “Which is easier, to say [to the paralytic], ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’?” (Luke 5:23)

In the context of ministering to a paralytic, saying “Your sins are forgiven” is probably easier. Why? Because you don’t need an outward manifestation to prove that his sins are forgiven. But when you tell him, “Rise up and walk,” he must rise up and walk, or you will look very foolish! So that makes saying “Your sins are forgiven” easier than saying “Rise up and walk”.

The truth is, what is seemingly more difficult for man in the natural is not so for God. With God, physical healing is clearly “easier” for Him than forgiveness of sins. The latter is the “harder” and greater miracle because it required God to deliver up His beloved Son to take on all our sins and shed His blood on the cross.

Yet, when faced with a loved one stricken with cancer, or when gripped by mounting debts after being jobless for a long time, we seem to find it harder to believe and say that God has already given us the breakthroughs we need, than to believe and say that our sins are forgiven. Saying that our sins are forgiven seems easier than saying that God has already given us the miraculous physical healing, supernatural financial breakthrough or divine favor at the next job interview.

But since God has done the “harder” and greater miracle of “having forgiven you all trespasses”, there is nothing He will not do for you! (Romans 8:32) In fact, if you think that there is something that God is withholding from you, you are implying that that something is greater than the forgiveness of sins which Jesus died to give you! But nothing can be greater than the perfect sacrifice of Jesus.

So hear the Lord telling you today, “Your sins have been forgiven you. You have perfect acceptance before God. Rise up and be healed! Rise up and walk in health, wisdom, favor, protection and wholeness!”

Love is...

Boy oh boy!
God has just sent me this scripture to clear up some love thoughts
I had early this morning.

“Love is patient, love is kind.

It does not envy,

it does not boast,

it is not proud.

It is not rude,

it is not self-seeking,

it is not easily angered,

it keeps no record of wrongs.”

(1 Corinthians 13:4-5)

So, this is how God defines it.

How do you feel?

Me?

I'm gona have to let this sink in first and get back on it

later..

It's too deep.

goodnight , my dear friend.

The Battle Is The Lord’s

The Battle Is The Lord’s

2 Chronicles 20:15
15… Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

When faced with a problem or challenge, we tend to ask ourselves, “What am I going to do?” And well-meaning family members and friends will come along and ask, “What are you going to do?”

Jehoshaphat faced a multitude of enemies. But instead of focusing on what he would do, he prayed, “O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” (2 Chronicles 20:12)

When we turn our eyes to God, we will hear Him say, “Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s... You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord…” (2 Chronicles 20:15, 17)

But standing still is the last thing we want to do when the enemy is coming against us. It is also the most difficult thing to do because we feel that we cannot just stand around and do nothing — we must try to save the situation. But God wants us to stand still and see Jesus our salvation fight for us.

So what do you do the next time you are faced with a battle and don’t know what to do? Jehoshaphat sent his singers to the front of the army to proclaim, “Praise the Lord, for His mercy endures forever.” (2 Chronicles 20:21) Some people will wonder, “Does that mean that I just sing and don’t do anything else when I have a problem?” No, that is not what I am saying.

Do what the situation requires, but don’t worry and don’t trust in what you do. Like Jehoshaphat, rest and trust in His mercy that endures forever. When you do that, God will turn your battlefield into the Valley of Berachah. Berachah means “blessings”. The children of Israel gave the battlefield this name because it took them three days to gather all the spoils of war! God turned their situation into a great blessing! (2 Chronicles 20:25–26)

Do you have a battle to fight? Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord!

On SOLID ROCK I stand...

I am going back to Cebu tonight...
Something within me tells me not to worry on the things
that I fear the most. Like seeing my mom's present condition,
money mstters, and I anticipate, there will be a lot more headaches
that would pop in.

As I bravely face all these...slowly I am beginning to see God and Jesus
working in me and inside of me.

Yes!
Fears, worries , problems of all sorts. They come as what they are.
They exist in this mad, fallen world and they will keep on coming till
they squeezed the hell out of you giving you more pain and misery.
And if they win, will deceive you and rob you off from this great life.

I am in that situation. The only difference is that, I now know where I stand.

I stand in a SOLID ROCK...because of Jesus!

Hear this song that I listened to this morning while I was on my way to work.
Very beautiful revelation has got to me..
Surely, with Jesus, on solid rock I stand...all other ground is sinking sand.

Praise God!

Thanks to my bro John Mah for sharing this album to me.
