Take Up Your Shield

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

There is a battle going on every day—a battle for your mind. And Satan has an unlimited supply of arrows. His arrows are the lies that he whispers to you, trying to weaken your faith. His arrows say, “No one loves you,” “Even Jesus wouldn’t forgive that,” “There’s no hope for you,” “You are so worthless” . . . lie after lie after lie.

Protect yourself with your shield of faith. When you feel the sting of one of Satan’s lies, come to Me and hear My truth. The truth is, I love you so much that I died for you. There is nothing you can do that I won’t forgive. In Me, there is always hope. And you are My own special creation, always precious to Me.

Take up your shield of faith. Stand up to the devil, and he will run away from you. Come close to Me, and I will come close to you.

Still He Walked

Everytime your problems or current circumstance are shaking you down,

meditate on this truth.

This is what Jesus has done for you.
His walk through the cross is an assurance that whatever your life is
taking you right now, HE IS WITH YOU ALL THE WAY.

HE WILL NEVER YOU.

May this lift your faith and be bold in your walk with Jesus.

Because HE IS THE TRUTH THAT SHALL SET YOU FREE!

He could hear the crowds screaming "crucify" "crucify"... 

He could hear the hatred in their voices,

These were His chosen people. 

He loved them,

And they were going to crucify him.

He was beaten, bleeding and weakened...

His heart was broken,

But still He walked.

He could see the crowd as He came from the palace.

He knew each of the faces so well.

He had created them.

He knew every smile, every laugh, and every shed tear,

But now they were contorted with rage and anger

His heart broke,

But still He walked.

He searched the crowd for a loving face and He saw very few.

Then he turned His eyes to the only one that mattered

And He knew that He would never be alone.

He looked back at the crowd...

At the people who were spitting at Him

Throwing rocks at Him and mocking Him

And he knew that because of Him,

They would never be alone.

So for them, He walked.

The sounds of the hammer striking the spikes echoed through the crowd. 

The sounds of His cries echoed even louder,

The cheers of the crowd, as His hands and feet were nailed to the cross, 

Intensified with each blow.

Loudest of all was the still small voice 

Inside His Heart that whispered "I am with you, my Son",

And God's heart broke.

He had let His son walk.

Jesus could have asked God to end His suffering,

But instead He asked God to forgive.

Not to forgive Him, but to forgive the ones who were persecuting Him.

As He hung on that cross, dying an unimaginable death,

He looked out and saw, not only the faces in the crowd,

But also, the face of every person yet to be,

And His heart filled with love.

As His body was dying, His heart was alive. 

Alive with the limitless, unconditional love He feels for each of us.

That is why He walked.

When I forget how much My God loves me,

...I remember His walk.

When I wonder if I can be forgiven,

...I remember His walk.

When I need to be reminded of how to live like Christ,

...I think of His walk.

And to show Him how much I love Him,

...I wake up each morning, turn my eyes to Him,

.......And I walk.

My Repititive Prayers

#MyChristianDiary 60

I realised I have been praying repititive prayers.
I keep asking God to be with me when He already said so many times in the Bible that He is with me.

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 54:4
Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul.


And many more verses to come!


I should've been thanking Him for being with me instead.
My bad, I don't really know God that much yet.

Arrrgh!

But I am not giving up.
I know He won't be giving up on me too because of this ... ( at least I know a lil bit of Him yeah?)

Thank You Lord for sticking with me all the way no matter what! Even in the midst of my confusions or doubts.

Please guide me always. And lead me.

I really wanna make it this time with you.

My 45years of walking here on earth is enough.

I wanna spend the rest of my time worshipping and honoring You for what You are.

Now, I guess , it's time to pray for new stuff🙏🙏🙏😀

Next time, instead of measuring your day against what you think you can do, measure it against what you know I can do— which is anything! There is no such thing as a day too tough for me—not a test day, not a moving day, not a my-parents-had-a-terrible-fight day.

"Joint Heirs With Christ Jesus"

Romans 8:16–17
16The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17and if children, then heirs — heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ...

As long as you are born again, you are no longer a “slave”, but a son of the Most High God. And God does not just call you His son. He also calls you “an heir” through Christ. (Galatians 4:7) In fact, Romans 8:17 says that you are “joint heirs” with Christ.

As a joint heir with Christ Jesus, you inherit everything that He is. How precious Jesus is to the Father, is how precious you are to the Father. The way the Father loves Jesus, is the way the Father loves you!

How accepted are you by God today? Look at Jesus. That is how accepted you are! Christ is the measure of your acceptance. How favored are you by God? Look at Jesus, who is seated at the Father’s right hand. You enjoy that same favor today because whatever Christ enjoys, you enjoy!

As a joint heir with Christ Jesus, you also inherit all that He has obtained from the Father. How much Jesus has, is how much you have. How prosperous is the one who made all things, and who put the gold, silver and diamonds in the earth? So are you in this world! (1 John 4:17)

I used to read the Bible to find out how to be a rich, successful and victorious Christian. But now, I read it to find out more about Jesus because I know that when I find Him, I find my every blessing in Him. (Ephesians 1:3, 2 Peter 1:3)

My friend, all that Jesus is in heaven today, you are in this world. All that belongs to Him belongs to you. That is why it is in your interest to know Him more, to see Him in all His glory and beauty. And because Jesus is so rich and glorious, it will take you a lifetime to discover everything that He has done for you and has for you.

Beloved, you are an heir of the Most High God. You are a joint heir with Christ Jesus. So find out all the blessings that your rich inheritance includes and start walking in them today!

I read a story about a man who lived in a tiny apartment and died in extreme poverty. At one point in his life, he had even been homeless, living on the streets. This man never had any successes to speak of nor any noted victories. He lived and died as just another face in the crowd.

After the funeral, some family members went to his little run-down apartment to clear out his belongings. They found a painting hanging on the wall so they decided to sell it at a garage sale. The woman who bought the picture took it to a local art gallery for an appraisal and was shocked to discover that the painting was extremely valuable. The piece of art that hung for so many years in a little run-down apartment was painted by a famous artist who lived in the early 1800s. The woman decided to auction off that painting and ended up selling it for several million dollars.

Just think how that poor man's life might have changed if he had known the value of what he possessed. He was a multimillionaire and didn't even know it. So many people live like that today with priceless treasure inside, and they don't even know it. Sometimes we have to explore what's on the inside of us to really understand what we have.

I encourage you today; don't settle for living a mediocre existence. You are a masterpiece created by the most famous Artist of all. Every morning when you get out of bed, remind yourself, I am important. I am handpicked by God, and I am a person of extreme value and significance.

For we are God's masterpiece…(Ephesians 2:10, NLT).

I was surprised to know that my colleague attends the same church here in Singapore.
New Creation church.

Hahah!

All the while I thought the 100 Days of Favor book by Joseph Prince is my boss'.

I was soooooooo wrong!

Lolx!

Now my colleague is so nice enough to lend me the book plus other stuff like "Experience Unceasing Fruitfulness" DVD.

I am soooooo blessed to have a colleague from New Creation too.
Though this is not the first time but it does really make a lot of difference in the work place. 😁

God is a giver of all things!

I am sharing a very beeaauuuuutiful verse today....

You see no matter how much we want to appreciate or praise God, 

there will come a time that a spark of "doubt" will hit on our nerves.

Be careful, that's one of the devil's scheme. The devil always want to put in our head

that we must suffer lack, and that we are meant to have loses, diseases and many other

negative and not so acceptable things. The devil wants us to feel that we are at a losing end. That we

can never go that far. That we are not worthy. 

In being so, we then start to doubt if God will give us what we want or need... 

Are you having second thoughts now?

I SAY...

DON'T BE.

Those negative words of lack, fears and doubt are just temporary. You can get rid of it by saying this beautiful verse from Romans 8:32.

How To Be Cool On The Road

I know driving and being on the road is tough.
So if you're driving, I hope this short article that I'm gona share with you will bless you.

Me?
I don't have a car yet. I never had one neither ..ever! But right I'm taking the liberty of  preparing myself for my new Lamborghini.. heheheh!
 (Joke but please say AMEN!)

"SANITY FIRST AID"

A little pause and quite spot in your mind go a long way. Road warriors who are easily riled can try
taping soothing verses onto the car dashboard. Or memorise your favourite verses.
Take a scriptural pill!

PATIENCE
Cover yourself with the blood of Christ each morning before starting your day with Matthew 26:28.
Add to the prayer and ask God for patience with 1 Timothy 6:11.
And to guard your heart and arteries against anger, try Proverbs 4:23 while you're on the road.

PEACE
If impatience and anger are chronic emotional hotspots for you, have ready a favourite verse for when
tensions run high behind the wheel. Try verses on peace from Psalm 29:11 and Isaiah 26:3,4 or you can simply proclaim you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus from 2 Corinthians 5:21, Philippians 3:8-10

SERENITY
Feel the tension rising?
Maintain a restful mind, just say out loud, "This is the day that the Lord has made, we can rejoice and be glad in it." Whatever happens on the road, happens!

We don't need to call on God only when we need help.
He enjoys our company (Psalm 149:4) and driving is a wonderful opportunity to spend more time with Him. Pop an uplifting worship album into your CD player and enjoy the journey.
God will take care of the rest of your day.

God Has A Plan For You!

Sometimes, you feel down.

Mixed- feelings of confusions, fears, depression and frustrations brought about

by external events of your life attack you

and then lead you to ask yourself this question, " Am I believing the right thing? or person?"

Let me answer your question.


If you believe in God. I say, YES! DEFINITELY, You are believing the right person.

If you believe in Jesus as your savior, I say YES again! Because Jesus is your SAVIOR as written in the
Bible.

So keep holding on and stop entertaining your negative thoughts and emotions.

Listen to praise songs like the  one I'm watching right now --->ONE WAY JESUS by HillsongUnited

For SURELY, you are on the right track with Jesus!

Things that you wish or want to happen may haven't manifest yet , I say, be patient
and enjoy the bumpy ride. Because God never promises a smooth journey, but He promises a safe landing.

Don't ask too many questions now. because it's a trap!

Just say, " Thank you Jesus, for keeping me...Thank you Jesus for saving me from these unhealthy, negative thoughts."

One more thing, you need to write this down again, and read it everytime
you doubt in God's plans for you.
