Prayer of Protection

Let us all pray for the people and victims in New Zealand, ChristChurch's earthquake Beloveds.

We are BLESSED because we are here, online, blogging , facebooking or twittering whilst the other
poor souls outhere are fighting for their lives in different calamities like floods , terrorism, tsunamis and earthquakes.

Let's pause for a moment.

Close your eyes now and just say a simple prayer for them.

 D E E P       S I L E N C E.

------------------
There you go.
Take a deep breathe.

------------------

I actually spoke in tongues with the Children of God in mind.

When situations like these gives fear in your heart.. I say, "BE STILL".

Because we have our Abba's promises of protection written in the Book of Life!

Keep this verse in your pocket. Write it in your notes where you can look or read through it anytime, everyday.

Memorize it.

"The LORD is my light and my salvation; I will fear no one. The LORD protects me from all danger; I will never be afraid. "

-Psalm 27:1.

I have created an artwork for this so if you have the chance, you can print it out yourself.

Life is about finding yourself...

Saw this while I was standing on the train.
Mmmmm...

Which thought do you prefer?

"Life isn't about finding yourself.
Life is about creating yourself."

At first, it sounds very inspiring.
Yes.
You need to start "creating" yourself.
Be the person you want to be. Emulate your fave actors or actresses or rap artists.
Attend a motivational course.
Aim high ...
Reach your goal!

Be the best that you can be because it'll make you proud.. This will make people look up to you and respect you..

Yes. Create yourself!

You see...
There's really nothing wrong in
this and it may work for you.

Awesome right?

But with me??

I dont think so.

I tried changing or "creating" myself a hundred times but failed. Lolx.
Even up to now, there are some slight attempts to make that change abit but nyah!
I realised it has become so stressful for me I figured I can't take it anymore!

I don't want to struggle back again then get depressed.
It just make me so pathetic.:/

Perhaps...

"Life is about finding yourself..."

Where??

Definitely not in the clubs, shopping malls, pubs, dream places, getaways, on top of your success etc ...

Because I call these places as temporary happiness-inducer.
What pleasure it gives to you just don't last.
Like withered leaves, it falls and fades away with time.

So where am I suppose to find myself.

Mmmmm I say
It's not "where".

It's whom.

Whom to find myself?

Of course. I got the right answer for you.

in Jesus. :)

in Jesus I find my peace,

My everlasting joy.

My comfort.

My healing.

My protection.

My refuge.

I find it easier this way.
Just lovely!

No stress. And no more struggle.

I can be myself and still smile amidst the adversities and conflicts the world loves to give.

In Jesus I find my rest.

It's just beautiful.

And guess what,
For me this is pure VICTORY!

:)

Halleluyah!

He Will Fill You by Joel Osteen

Today’s Verse: “‘…My people will be filled with My bounty,’ declares the LORD” (Jeremiah 31:14, NIV).

Today’s Word:
When I think of being filled, I think of being satisfied. I think of having more than enough to meet my needs so that I can be a blessing to others. But it all starts with our level of expectancy. My question for you today is what are you believing for? What are you expecting? You might say, “Well, Joel. I don’t think I’ll ever meet my sales goals this year with the economy like it is.” Or, “I don’t think I’ll ever get promoted. I’m not that qualified.” “I don’t think I’ll ever get well.” The problem is you’re not looking for those good breaks. You’re not expecting increase. You’re not positioning yourself for God to fill you, and unfortunately, you won’t be disappointed. Jesus said in the scriptures, “According to your faith it will be done unto you.” He might as well have said, “If you’ve got a cup, I’ll fill you with a cup level of blessing. If you’ve got a bucket, I’ll fill you with a bucket level of blessing.” But if you’ll take the limits off of God and believe for supernatural opportunities, if you’ll go out each day expecting far and beyond favor, you won’t be disappointed. He will fill you and satisfy you with His goodness and show His favor in ways beyond your wildest dreams!

Prayer for Today: Father God, thank You for blessing me so that I can be a blessing to others. Today, I choose to open my heart and mind to You and expect that You will fill me with Your bounty. I choose to take the limits off my thinking so that You can have Your way in my life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled

Without Jesus, anything can happen and wooosh!
We are in trouble!

But with Jesus, no matter what happens, we will have that peace.

Yeah!

You will have that PEACE as long as you believe.

I got tired of being fearful myself.
For years , I was in bondage with worries, depressions, fears
and frustrations.
But when Jesus redeemed me from it all, it was probably the best moments of my life.

Fighting to have that PEACE in us to survive in this world is a MUST!

You can never find it on drugs, pills or tranquilizers.

Only Jesus can.

Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled

John 14:27
27Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you… Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

The night before Jesus died, He gave His peace to His disciples — “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you…” This peace was not just for His disciples, but also for us today. We have His peace.

The moment you believe in Jesus Christ, He who is the Prince of Peace comes to live inside you. And when the Prince of Peace resides in you, every blessing that you will ever need pertaining to your soundness and wholeness is already inside you.

“Pastor Prince, if this is true, then why do I still see problems in my health, finances, family and relationships?”

The answer is a troubled heart. That is why after Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you,” He said, “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

A troubled and fearful heart works like fingers that clamp down hard on a water hose. The supply of water is flowing from the tap, but little or nothing is coming out at the other end of the hose. God’s ever-present supply of blessings toward you is like the water flowing freely from the tap. But you don’t see the blessings when you allow your heart to be gripped by worry or fear.

So when fearful, anxious thoughts come, remind yourself of Jesus’ words: “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Even when things appear to get worse, say, “Lord, I refuse to worry about this. In the midst of all this, I see the finished work of Christ. He said, ‘It is finished!’ So my child’s healing is accomplished. My marriage is blessed. My debts are cleared. I will let not my heart be troubled by these things.”

Beloved, I cannot “let not” for you. Your family and friends cannot “let not” for you. Only you can “let not your heart be troubled”. So guard your heart from being troubled. You don’t have to guard your career, reputation, children or even health. When you guard your heart, God will guard everything else for you!

My Daily Dose...

“The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.” (Habakkuk 3:19)

God Is Not Punishing You For Some Sin

Good day everyon!
Rejoice in this good news everyday of your life and
see how far this TRUTH will take you.

God Is Not Punishing You For Some Sin

Ephesians 1:7
7In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Some Christians believe that although you have forgiveness of sins, you are not free from the penalties of your sins. In other words, you can still expect punishment from God. For example, some married Christian couples have been told that they are childless because God is punishing them for having had pre-marital sex. So although God has forgiven them of that sin, He still has to punish them for it.

I am certainly not for pre-marital sex, but I want you to know that God, who is the only one who can fully appreciate the full value of His Son’s blood and who is completely satisfied by His Son’s sacrifice, is at rest in His heart today concerning your sins! That is why He is not against you even when you fail. Neither is He out to punish you when you sin. No, He still loves you, is for you and wants to help you overcome that sin.

In the Old Testament, the blood of bulls and goats could only “cover” sins and not take them away. (Hebrews 10:4) But the blood of Jesus is not like the blood of animals! For by one sacrifice, the eternal blood of the Son of God has forever removed your sins (Psalm 103:12) and cleansed you of all unrighteousness! (1 John 1:9) In fact, God is so satisfied with His Son’s perfect work that He says to you today, “Your sins and lawless deeds I will by no means remember!” (Hebrews 10:17) And if God does not remember them, why would He punish you for them?

Beloved, you have “redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace”. Because Jesus’ work is complete, all your sins have been completely forgiven. And complete forgiveness means that the penalties for your sins can no longer fall on you because they had already fallen on Jesus at the cross. (Isaiah 53:5)

So don’t think for one moment that God is punishing you for some sin just because something bad happened to you. Look to the cross and know that all your sins have already been punished fully in the body of Christ. Believe that God is for you and expect victory!

The Antidote To Fear

1 John 4:18
18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear…

Experts tell us that babies have two natural fears: the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. A study on fear was conducted on 500 adults of varying ages, backgrounds and lifestyles. The results showed that they shared some 7,000 different fears. This means that they must have learnt 6,998 fears since they were born. That is a lot of fears!

Actually, our bodies are designed for faith. Fear was foreign to man until Adam sinned against God. For the first time, Adam knew fear, and he hid from God and said, “I heard Your voice… I was afraid… I hid myself.” (Genesis 3:10)

Since then, man has been living in the realm of fear — fear of the future, fear of what others might say, fear of diseases, fear of flying… Actually, every fear is born out of the feeling of being cut off from God. If you think that God is still mad at you, that He is out to punish you, how can you have faith that everything will be all right? How can you have faith for your miracle?

But I have good news for you. There is a sure antidote to fear. The apostle John says that “perfect love casts out fear”. When you know that God so loves you that He gave His Son to take your beating so that you can take His blessings, you will stop fearing.

God so loves you that at the cross, Jesus was rejected so that you could become God’s beloved. It was not the nails that kept Jesus on the cross. It was His love for you. And if God did not withhold Jesus, why do you think that He will withhold healing, finances or a blessed marriage from you? (Romans 8:32)

Today, when you hear His voice, you will hear Him say, “You are My beloved child, in you I am well pleased.” And you don’t have to hide but you can run to Him without fear because He is not out to punish you. He is out to protect, prosper and provide for you, so fear not!

Love is...

Boy oh boy!
God has just sent me this scripture to clear up some love thoughts
I had early this morning.

“Love is patient, love is kind.

It does not envy,

it does not boast,

it is not proud.

It is not rude,

it is not self-seeking,

it is not easily angered,

it keeps no record of wrongs.”

(1 Corinthians 13:4-5)

So, this is how God defines it.

How do you feel?

Me?

I'm gona have to let this sink in first and get back on it

later..

It's too deep.

goodnight , my dear friend.

This little thing called "LOVE"

This little thing called "LOVE"...

How this 4-letter word can rock our world.

It inspires us, consumes us...

and even defines us.

It brings colours to our world.

Lovely , isn't it?

When everything is going well with our partner.

We feel so perfect just to have him/her.

But..

come.

few months, years later.

Things change.

The love that used to rock your world

now starts to shake you.

Giving you alot of frustrations, depressions and sadness.

The battle begins.

My mind sometimes used to push me a little too far.

Categorising LOVe as something that you should
give to someone whom you feel you are loved and treasured too.

That LOVE should be a give and take process.

I don't know.

As I'm typing this.

I really can't still fathom this word.

How to love unconditionally when there's so much pain within.

How to love perfectly with all the imperfections in this world.

I just keep asking how or why.

How do you love?

My mind is blank right now.

..and this scripture has somewhat lighten up my way.

“ If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.” (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)

I know I don't love perfectly just yet

so I will let Jesus lead me the way.

Trusting myself too much in having it my way would be so stressful.

I just rest in Him

and enjoy the rest of the day.

Good day my dear friends:)

LIGHT vs DARKNESS

I have always thought "DARKNESS" in the Bible just means
committing murder, terrorism or diseases.

And..

I have always thought that when you become a Christian.
Everything will flea.
No more sadness, afflictions , pains , heartachess, etc..
and God will give u a perfect world instantly.

Well, I have thought wrongly.

I have found out.

"DARKNESS" is ..

when you are depressed...
struggling with your afflictions,
heartaches from a broken relationships,
sadness,
boredom,
financial turmoil
and career stress.

In this world,

those things will come and attack you every now and then..
Before you know it, you are trap in it.

As a Christian, you would ask God, "Lord, I have done this and that.
why this is happening to me??"

Somewhere along the way you end up struggling with your faith ..

It's self-sabotaging, right?

Some people would seek advices from friends, read books
and watch a movie just to getaway.

But...

at the end of the day.

It all comes back to them...again and again and again..

(Yeah, I know it because I was there.)

When these things happening..
it is not really a question of "what to do" or "where to go"?

it's a question of

WHOM to go to...

Who?

It's Jesus..

As I'm typing this right now,

I just had a fight with my ex.

For months I have been struggling with my frustrations over and over again.

Thinking and being torn between having these options of
getting it over real soon
or have the love come back again.

I am so filled with pain and heartaches.
I just wana runaway from it all.
There are times that I feel it's already part of me. ...

or has become me...

It isn't easy at all.

Deep within, gloom is in my heart..
It just keeps haunting me.

Yes.

I am in darkness..

My ground is shaking right now.

I feel my world is falling apart.
It's sickening with all these pains.

really

I feel like a loser !!

But guess what..

I am thankful..

You know why?

Because Jesus is in me.

No matter how sad, frustrated , depressed that I become,
His power absorbs it all and resides in me.

Knowing the truth that these are just temporary
gives me Peace and sets me free.

Everytime I feel bad about myself and all the things
that are happening to me, there's this force within me
or something which I cannot explain that lifts my spirit up.

It's cool and all I wana do is just see those negative feelings
flea away from me.

The next moment, I'm back on my feet again ...

to have fun!

I refer to my pains, sadness, afflictions as my "DARKNESS".

But Jesus is my LIGHT

When one is in total darkness and sees just a bit
of spark of light around.. there's hope.

Jesus wraps me around in His love with hope.
I may not know how it happens but just keep that way.

Yes!

My world maybe shaking right now but I don't fret.

With Jesus...
I know someday I am going to stand above it all
and live a victorious life praising Him.

It's just amazing when you know the truth..

Thank you Jesus for making things new for me!

Thank you Jesus for You are my refuge!
Not alcohol, drugs, or anything...

It's You!

Thank you ...Thank you... Thank you...J E S U S!!!

A "typical" Christian

Just lately, my flesh was in a battle..
Let me post my blog that I have saved in my cellphone for a week now.

May 11,2008
A 'typical' Christian

Ok.Someone has cheated on me and I'm furious!
Out of that rage came out saying bad things..mean
thoughts and all.(I didn't say the 4-letter word though.Or even cursing stuffs to that person.)

I'm just an ordinary person,enraged!
Angry!
Mad for being cheated on.
Then I share it to my non-Christian friends.
What I got?
They judged me! Saying things like,'Look at you, You praise God so much. You are so 'religious' and here u are, acting not what a Christian should do!
It stinged my ears!
So what a Chrisitan should do in situations like this?

I know some would just say, leave it to God,stay calm, don't say bad words because you're a Christian.

Hey!I know I am suppose to act that way..but at the moment, where anger fills my heart-- I CANNOT!

I'm not perfect. If I am then I won't be needing Jesus after all!
Yes! I am Christian. But I'm not holy yet!(just yet)
I hate hearing these kinds of remarks putting a badge on Christians.Judging us as if we don't have feelings anymore. That when you are a Christian, YOU DON't HAVE THE RIGHT to feel or say these things anymore because yeah you're such a Christian!
Reminds me so much of the Pharisees!

I know Jesus has taught us to 'love our enemies'..
I wish I am to become like Jesus in just a snap of a finger..then I could just forgive..and forget..But the way in the world doesn't just work that way!

For now, I'm in a situation where I cannot just forgive yet. So will that make me a bad Christian? A "typical" Christian?

These things somehow are shaking me and my faith.
When I look unto the cross, I feel guilty. Thinking after all what Jesus did in the calvary, getting all the blows and the whippings I fear I might be putting His name in vain because of my own "bad" actions.."

Well, that was a week ago and somehow God has answered it when I went to my service yesterday.

"Where sins abound, the Grace of God Supernaturally abounds.."

..it's where I have failed, and fallen-short that God's love and Grace wraps me
inside out more and beyond.

Where I am most undeserving..God still loves me..and great Grace will flow through me.
As God speaks it.. I won't need to fear of any judgement at all.

Amazing isn't it?

I will get the exact verse of the Bible next time..

Now, I can walk tall..and still feel God's love no matter what happens.

I claim it because that's my inheritance from Christ!
I need to do it..because that's all I got in this world..
Thank you Jesus for the CROSS!
