Healthier, Stronger Each Day

Here's another powerful message from Pastor Prince.
I will just make this as one of my testimonies.
Just before I got saved I was sickly.
I get sorethroat, bad headaches, coughs and get real sick every now and then.
But when I drew closer to Jesus and asked Him to be my healer, he never disappointed me. And I know He WILL never disappoint me.
That's why to boost up more of my immune system I do Holy Communion everyday.
Even before I go for a clubbing and right after, I'd still do it. :)

And today, I'm proud to say I'm well and getting stronger each day!

Read on and enjoy your healing!

Acts 2:46
46So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

Back then in the early church, Christians would meet each other every day, either corporately in the temple or from house to house in smaller groups. And when they met in their homes, the Bible tells us that they would break bread. That’s the Holy Communion, and they took it every day!

Now, I am not saying that you must take the Holy Communion every day. But if you feel led to and you want to, go ahead! The thing about taking the Holy Communion daily is this: If you are sick, you can be made well on a gradual basis. This means that you get healthier and stronger from day to day — first thirtyfold, then sixtyfold, then a hundredfold!

You see, while you can receive healing through the prayer of faith (Mark 11:24), it sometimes puts pressure on you because it requires you to believe that you receive it all — complete healing — the moment you pray. There is nothing wrong with the prayer of faith, but you may find yourself saying, “I must believe I receive it all, now! I must believe I have it all, now!”

But the Holy Communion allows you to receive a measure of healing every time you partake in faith, so that you get better and better. The more you take it, the better you become. There is no pressure to believe that you receive it all at once. Isn’t God good? He meets you at your level of faith!

Now, there are cases I know of in our church, in my family and in my own life, where the manifestation of healing is immediate and complete. If it happens that way, praise God! But if not, don’t worry. The more you partake, the better you will become.

I know of people who take the Holy Communion three times a day, just like they would medicine! Why not? My friend, if you are very sick and you are diligently taking your medication three times a day, why not give the Lord’s Supper the same amount of attention? Why not boost your recovery rate? And the next time you eat the bread and drink the cup, you may just find your disease totally gone!

Learning A New Human Skill(Lesson#1)

Follow The Anointing Within and Rise Up in Godly Leadership

This sermon is awesome!
I have learnt that one shouldn't let other people's actions determine how they react.
In the same token, one shouldn't let external circumstances control how he should feel.

Let me share with you my blog that I have created on my Friendster account.

"Don't let people's action determine how you react" - Jesus

I heard this line in my ipod when I was about to get so really, reaaaally pissed off with the people in front of me on the escalator .
I was rushing my way down to it so I can reach my bus. I was late!
And there they were , they just stood still as if waiting for something to wipe them all out.
Man, if you're in a hurry , things can really get so icky!

So what am I trying to say?
Read this line again..."Don't let people's action determine how you react" - Jesus

It has something to do with what Jesus said in the Bible when he said, "When a person wants you to carry his burden one mile...go carry his burden another 2miles..(Sorry I couldn't find the exact verse. But will find it out soon.)

Another human skill that I need to practice and get hold on to!
I learnt, this can also be applied in some personal, senseless circumstances.
I can think of many.
Like...
* when your internet slows down = impatience, irritability
* annoying boss , bitchy colleagues = resignation letter
* rejection from someone you love or like = loss of self-esteem, sadness
* career going nowhere = frustrations,depressions
* spotting sexy girls/ boys = excitement, flirtatious
* F E A R = S T R E S S
* boredom = boredom, can even lead to one's death
* an ex betraying your love = anger, hatred, unforgiveness
* salary comes after 2 weeks and atm is dwindling = lock up in one's room, no more clubbing, DOOMED! (aaaw!)

It's endless actually!
And it's just so pathetic on how things around us can control our emotions in some ways..
Unconsciously, it's swallowing and tearing us apart ...each moment getting and feeling more like being in the pit of hell.

That's why I want to keep this thought in me .. I want this to mold me so it can set me free!
And if by chance, by Grace..I'd be able to reach this state.
Wow! It's VICTORY!!!
and that's what living in this mad world truly means!

Then I'd become a hero(in my own little ways)...and I can save the world!

Thank you Jesus!

Look To The Word, Not Natural Facts

I hate medicines, the smell of alcohol in the hospital, body pains and any sickness! That's why I keep rejecting it in Jesus name!

For two years that I have accepted Jesus, not only as my Savior but as my healer,
I haven't been sick at all. SWEAR!!!

I used to get coughs, colds for like every within 2 -3 months.

Now?
I cannot remember the feeling of having any of those at all!

I remember one testimonial in my church. The guy, who is on his mid 50s
boldly confesses that he has never been sick for 5years now.
Just wooow!

My years of wondering if sickness is really a part of me has come to a stop!
I have learned the truth that "sickness" is part of my curses when Adam sinned..
but JESUS, my healer and redeemer has taken that curse away when He was beaten, scourged and crucified on the cross! Thank you Jesus!

But hold on right there..no matter how great this truth is sometimes
human as I am, I cannot always really depend on my faith..
so everytime my faith wavers..
my trick is to block it with the CROSS...
It's just amazing how He does it. I just think of the cross for few
seconds and then I am back again with Him..

Now I can only rest..full-time!

To back it all up, here's a great message from Pastor Joseph Prince.
Read on and enjoy a victorious life over sickness!

Numbers 21:9
9So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

“Pastor Prince, I know that God is my healer. But why is this sickness and pain still in my body?” If you have been looking at your sickness and pain all this while, stop looking at yourself and start looking at Jesus. Did He or did He not take upon Himself your sickness and pain?

God’s Word declares, “Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, and our pains — he hath carried them…” (Isaiah 53:4, YLT) Since Jesus has already taken your sickness and pain at the cross, then He cannot “untake” them. Even if you find it hard to believe that Jesus has paid for your healing, especially when the pain is unbearable, the truth is that it is still paid for. It is a finished work!

God is not saying that your sickness does not exist, nor is He asking you to pretend that it is not there. He is asking you to look away from the sickness, painful as it may be, and look to the truth that it has already been judged at the cross in the body of His Son.

Once, while still in the wilderness, the children of Israel were bitten by deadly desert serpents. The serpents were real. The bites were painful and deadly. So God told Moses to point the people to the bronze serpent put on a pole — a picture of the cross. (John 3:14) Bronze signifies judgment. In other words, the serpent — their problem — was already judged at the cross.

Those who kept their eyes on the bronze serpent lived. Those who focused on their wounds died. So stop looking at your sickness. Instead, look to the cross and see your sickness already judged in the body of Jesus. Surely He has borne your sicknesses and carried your pains! That is the truth of God’s Word. And His Word supersedes natural facts.

My friend, you let natural facts rule or establish God’s truths over your problem by what you choose to focus on. So decide today not to focus on the facts concerning your problem. Instead, establish the truth of God’s Word and Christ’s finished work over your problem — and live!

When My Faith Wavers....

Although how consistent and serious I am in believing God and praising Him..many a times my faith wavers.
Questions like,

"Is God for real?"
"Am I delusional?"
"Where this thing will take me?"
"Am I really saved?"
"What about the New Age teachings and Oprah?"
"Where will I go from here?"
"Does heaven and earth really exist?"
"What if the scientists are true?"
"What about the anti-Christ and atheists? Are they having fun with life right now?"

..the list is endless.

But just two days ago...I had the answers coming right from
Pastor Prince...Read on..:)

"When You See God’s Grace, He Sees Your Faith"

Ephesians 2:8
8For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

Many a time, people ask me, “Pastor Prince, I know that God’s promises are true, but how can I be sure that His promises will come true in my life?”

My friend, if you want God’s promises to be sure in your life, you cannot depend on youself. If you depend on youself — your obedience, goodness, service and even faith — you will not be able to receive God’s promises. But when you depend on God’s grace — His unmerited, unearned, undeserved favour towards you — that is when His promises become sure in your life.

This was true of the woman with the issue of blood. (Matthew 9:20–22) She didn’t go around saying, “I must have faith… I hope that I have enough faith… I will have faith… I will not lose faith.” No, she was only conscious of the grace of Jesus — how He always healed the sick, how powerful He was in raising the dead and how willing He was to use that power for her healing.

She just saw His grace abounding towards her, so much so that she said, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” And when she came behind Jesus and touched the very hem of His garment, she was healed. At the same moment, Jesus stopped, turned around and said to her, “Be of good cheer, daughter, your faith has made you well.”

When the woman saw His grace, God saw her faith! And so it was by grace, through faith, that God’s promises became sure in her life.

God wants you to see His grace. And when you see His grace, He sees your faith. God says, “For by grace are you saved through faith.” (Ephesians 2:8) The Greek word of saved, sozo, doesn’t just mean to save from hell, but also to heal, preserve and make whole. So it is by grace that you are made whole, kept healthy, preserved and prosperous. It is by grace through faith that God’s promises become sure in your life.

My friend, don’t worry if you feel that you lack faith. Begin to see God's grace in your situation and he will see that as faith. And because He sees your faith, you will receive the breakthrough you need!

Out of Gas!

I have recieved this devotional from Ed Wrather's website www.theburningbush.org.
I don't wana run of gas neither...That's why I keep flooding my ipod with God's words, practical sermons of our Pastor just to keep me going each day.

Read on so you will know what I am talking about.:)

"Out of Gas

(Update of a devotional from 1998)

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” - Matthew 4:1-4.

Just a day or two ago in Cookeville, Tennessee three thieves ran into a problem while making their getaway. The three were in the process of stealing a recliner from a Goodwill store. Now, they did succeed in loading the recliner into their truck and they were able to begin to drive away but that was when their problems started. Before leaving the parking lot of the store the truck ran out of gas and by that time someone had called the police about the break-in. They were all arrested and have been charged with the attempted theft.

Some of you may never have run out of gasoline in your car. It has only happened to me once and that was enough! I was 17 years old and a friend had set up a double date for us. We were on our way to pick up the girls and I was in a hurry. It was a complete shock when the car began to spit and sputter and then die. Needless to say we were late for the date, and the evening turned out badly which was probably for the best.

Spiritually we can run out of gas as well. We are busy people with jobs, children, their activities, our activities, church, our responsibilities at church, and church activities. We are preoccupied with the immediate. Then it happens, a crisis comes into our lives and we find that the spiritual tank is empty. We turn to the Lord and try to fill it back up but the crisis is such that everything we take in immediately goes back out. We put on our happy faces and pretend that everything is okay but really we are just barely crawling, trying to make it through another day. Sound familiar?

The fact is we can’t wait until that storm blows in to fill up the tank. Just as we need physical food frequently in order to live we also need spiritual food. We need that daily intake of reading, studying, and meditating upon the Word of God. We also need to pray every day. Jesus says to pray in the Lord’s Prayer, the model prayer, “Give us this day our daily bread (Matthew 6:11).” In Mark 1:35 we are told, “Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” Jesus had a quiet time and we need one every day too - preferably early in the morning before beginning our day.

Maybe it’s time to fill up the tank? Don’t let the devil catch you when you’re, out of gas!

How To Change Your Mom?

I thought of some ways in how to change my mom's attitude
and the way she thinks about life and all.
She hates my cousin and she wants to move out to a new place.
Literally, she hates everything and the only thing
that could brighten up her day is when I send her some cash.

Last time, everytime this situation would pop out...
I would really get a bad headache. As in reaaal bad headache
that I just wanted myself out somewhere
where I can be alone and have peace!

I wanted escape!

I wanted to do something
or have something that could bring me to a relax state.

See how my mind played tricks on me again?

...drowning me even more with all those
negative thoughts that keep nagging at me?

But stop right there!

It is just my thoughts!

So no matter where I go or what I do...the next moment it will
come to attack me again!

There's no escape to it.

Heelp! I need Superman!

Yeah! Those were just my thoughts...so were my struggles!

So I asked myself, will thinking too much about this situation
help me in some ways?

How could just one thought bring me sooo down and made me feel so
weak inside?

It must be so powerful!

Another question pop out, Will it help me overcome my problem?

...the answer?

Yes!

I fought my negative thoughts with POSITIVE THOUGHTS!!
...and have added extra little creativity in it.

So, I imagined the situation and have put it inside my "getaway box".
(It's in my previous blog if you want to check it out)

And boy, am I so glad I did it!

Right now, as my mom keeps bugging me on what she wants to do and where
she wants to go...guess, it is not my problem anymore.

It's JESUS' job!

Of course , i love my mom. and I just want the best for her ,
I want to take action.
But the weird feeling comes when everytime I want to do something
in my mom's situation...a thought keeps poking me that says,
" hey! You have given it up to me so you have no right
to deal with the situation again.
It's all mine!So relax and do your thing!"

Amazing ,isn't it????

It must be God or Jesus telling me those stuffs!

So , I just rest in Them..

And I want this thing to become a habit..

A habit that is soooo hard to break
as the song goes:)
