The Battle Is The Lord’s

The Battle Is The Lord’s

2 Chronicles 20:15
15… Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

When faced with a problem or challenge, we tend to ask ourselves, “What am I going to do?” And well-meaning family members and friends will come along and ask, “What are you going to do?”

Jehoshaphat faced a multitude of enemies. But instead of focusing on what he would do, he prayed, “O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” (2 Chronicles 20:12)

When we turn our eyes to God, we will hear Him say, “Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s... You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord…” (2 Chronicles 20:15, 17)

But standing still is the last thing we want to do when the enemy is coming against us. It is also the most difficult thing to do because we feel that we cannot just stand around and do nothing — we must try to save the situation. But God wants us to stand still and see Jesus our salvation fight for us.

So what do you do the next time you are faced with a battle and don’t know what to do? Jehoshaphat sent his singers to the front of the army to proclaim, “Praise the Lord, for His mercy endures forever.” (2 Chronicles 20:21) Some people will wonder, “Does that mean that I just sing and don’t do anything else when I have a problem?” No, that is not what I am saying.

Do what the situation requires, but don’t worry and don’t trust in what you do. Like Jehoshaphat, rest and trust in His mercy that endures forever. When you do that, God will turn your battlefield into the Valley of Berachah. Berachah means “blessings”. The children of Israel gave the battlefield this name because it took them three days to gather all the spoils of war! God turned their situation into a great blessing! (2 Chronicles 20:25–26)

Do you have a battle to fight? Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord!

Struggling With Faith

I used to work on my faith a lot.
I kept saying, I better have that faith in Him or
I'm gonna end up somewhere.

I was so conscious of my own self-effort that in the
end, deep within my frustrations were attacking me.
Giving me feeling of unworthiness.

Now, I have learnt that,

FAITH is not something to work on with.

Human as we are, if we rely on our faith in Him,
100% sure , it will never work or we end up somewhere.

Because ....

we are imperfect.

And our imperfections,

our failures

our setbacks

keep reminding and pointing a finger
at us that we will never make it!

So sad ha?

Well, that's the complications of being in this mad, fallen world.

Now, I am just glad I know what to do.

Everytime my faith fails me.

I just listen and read God's words and
let that wash over me.

Yes!

Learn how God's Grace had made us perfect in His eyes
inspite of being imperfet!!

Sharing another powerful message from Pastor Prince!
Good Monday morning my dear friends!

"When You See God’s Grace, He Sees Your Faith"

Ephesians 2:8
8For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

Many a time, people ask me, “Pastor Prince, I know that God’s promises are true, but how can I be sure that His promises will come true in my life?”

My friend, if you want God’s promises to be sure in your life, you cannot depend on yourself. If you depend on yourself — your obedience, goodness, service and even faith — you will not be able to receive God’s promises. But when you depend on God’s grace — His unmerited, unearned, undeserved favor toward you — that is when His promises become sure in your life.

This was true of the woman with the issue of blood. (Matthew 9:20–22) She didn’t go around saying, “I must have faith… I hope that I have enough faith… I will have faith… I will not lose faith.” No, she was only conscious of the grace of Jesus — how He always healed the sick, how powerful He was in raising the dead and how willing He was to use that power for her healing.

She just saw His grace abounding toward her, so much so that she said, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” And when she came behind Jesus and touched the very hem of His garment, she was healed. At that same moment, Jesus stopped, turned around and said to her, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.”

When the woman saw His grace, God saw her faith! And so it was by grace, through faith, that God’s promise became sure in her life.

God wants you to see His grace. And when you see His grace, He sees your faith. God says, “For by grace are you saved through faith.” The Greek word for “saved”, sozo, doesn’t just mean to save from hell, but also to heal, preserve and make whole. So it is by grace that you are made whole, kept healthy, preserved and prospered. It is by grace through faith that God’s promises become sure in your life.

My friend, don’t worry if you feel that you lack faith. Begin to see God’s grace in your situation and He will see that as faith. And because He sees your faith, you will receive the breakthrough you need!

Beware of some Christian preachers!

Some Christian preachers are detrimental to your health.
Trust me , I have been there.
If by chance you listen to some pastor , wide eyes looking straight into your
eyes , fingers pointing at you saying.

"You must be good to enter the kingdom of God.
You must do this..do that. be like this . be like that!"

and in the end while listening to him you feel like
having a heart attack because of too much guilt impounded on you.

I tell you... FLEE!!!!
Don't waste your time!
Go for another Christian church that only preaches and speaks of JESUS
and only Jesus. Then let the words of God change you within.Don't struggle.

For our best enemy is ourselves. But with Jesus , we can only rest
and let Him change us...consistently..

Jesus is the King of Peace.
He always wanted to have that peace in us no matter who and what we are.

Those kind of pastors that I just mentioned are still in bondage in the law of Moses!

And they with their so "good'ol sane mind" don't see JESUS final work in the Calvary.

They make it sooo hard for us to come to God and enjoy His love.
They complicate our relationship with God by pounding us with do's and don'ts!

They are misleading lost people to be more confuse and feel so unloved!

So whenever pastor leaders talking about your imperfections,
just say.

"Yes, I am imperfect.I have sinned. I am undeserving to have God's love
and blessings because of what I have become in this world BUT

(point your finger to Jesus)

This Man, has redeemed me from the mud. I was undeserving but because
of His death on the cross, God sees me righteous and my sins pure white as snow.
Should I be guilty?? No! I am grateful! Because Jesus has done it.
It is finished!! So why don't you shut up and read the good news in the Bible!"

Enjoy Pastor Joseph Prince's daily devotional for today my friends!
Start the week right! Rest in His love!:)

God Remembers Your Sins No More

Hebrews 10:17
17… “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

I don’t know about you, but I would say that Hebrews 10:17 is good news. God sees all our sins — past, present and future — and says, “Your sins I remember no more!” The words “no more” are a strong double negative in the original Greek text. In other words, God is saying, “Your sins I will by no means ever remember!”

Has God lowered His standards? No, He is still perfectly holy. He did remember all our sins — 2,000 years ago at the cross. Every sin which we have committed or will commit has been punished to the full in the body of Jesus Christ at the cross. That is why today, God remembers our sins no more. We should, therefore, not be sin-conscious.

Each time we fall into sin, God wants us to remember the cross and say, “Lord Jesus, you were sentenced for this sin I committed. You bore the judgment, so God will not judge me for this sin. You were condemned for this sin, so God will not condemn me for it.”

If you don’t look to the cross, you will become sin-conscious and you will walk around with a certain expectation of judgment. And that expectation of judgment will give the devil a chance to get you thinking that God has something against you because of your sin.

You must come to the place where you know and believe that all your sins are forgiven, that there is no sin that will ever disqualify you from God’s blessings, that there is no sin that will ever send you to hell, because you are forgiven and saved eternally.

Hebrews 10:12, 14 says, “But this Man [Jesus], after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God… For by one offering He has perfected forever…”

You and I are perfected forever because of Jesus’ perfect work on the cross. We are perfected by God’s full acceptance and perfect delight in His Son’s work that has so glorified His holiness. Beloved, hear God say to you, “I will be merciful. Your sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

Happy New Year my dear friends!

It's another year.
This time I know and I feel, inspite of all the world crisis
and setbacks, it's gona be an awesome year!

I bet people from all walks of life are starting to do
out their New Year's Resolution List.

Well, I can say I can relate to that.
Just before the new year comes, I used to start writing
down the things that I want to change in me.
To be more specific, I refer on my behavior.

Yes. It's innate in me that I wanted to be always good.
I wanted people to admire me because "I'm nice" I'm good"..
I'm like this and I'm like that.

So New Year's Resolution list has always been my thing.

Now, for so many years have passed of doing it...
have I changed on my self-effort?

Of course,
I did not.

Circumstances beyond my control had made me vulnerable
and left me at times out of control.
The more I pressured myself to never do this 'bad' thing again,
the more I ended up feeling so much like a loser.

Unfortunately, there even came a time that I became worst.
And out of frustrations..I hated myself.

Year after year after year.
I was always on my own with my atruggles.
if I couldn't fix it, I'd feel bad for not doing good enough.

Now, that Jesus is in me.

No more frets.

Deep inside, it's amazing how He changes me without holding
unto my own self-confessed strength and pride.

Jesus is right,

"I am the way the truth and the life" . Many struggle to know the way to live, Jesus says 'the way to live is in me'. We look for the ultimate truth, 'it's me' he says. We look for a life worth living with meaning and purpose, again 'it's me'. (John 14 v 6)

Isn't that a great message to live by???

Let that message sink in to you my friends.

If you're not happy with your life right now..read the message again.

Let us stop being so religious about Jesus.

Jesus Himself hates religion.
He wants relationship from us.
If we make Him our soul's partner, we can only gain from this
mad, fallen world.
We gain great health, peace and life will make it soooo much more
worthe living inspite of all your current situation.

Stop struggling with life and start having fun!

With Jesus, you don't need to sturggle because His yoke is easy.

You can only rest...full time!

Happy New Year and let the good tidings of the coming year begin!

Your Problem Must Bow To Jesus’ Name

"names" in this world give us sensations within that which we cannot explain.

If you hear the words

Power
Money
Sex
Heartaches
Lies
Names of your ex
Stress
Problems
Marriage
Love

and the list goes on.

It gives you a certain feeling and thoughts
on a different level and perspective, right?

Now , I know a name that is above all names!

It's

JESUS!!!

Yes!

There's power in the name of Jesus.
Everytime I feel heartaches, pains and confusions within
and don't know just how to pray or say ...

I just utter ....

J E S U S....

and then the next moment I feel better.

If all the things in this world is affecting you.
May it be your health, your finances, your marriage , lovelife,
school problems, your crush rejecting you...

You don't really have to put all those things above you

for Jesus is above all those things.

You might can't understand it for now. But I recommend
you just keep saying it..

J E S U S...and all your pains will flee supernaturally.

Sharing another great sunday message from Pastor Joseph Prince.

Enjoy your Sunday friends.

And Happy New Year!!!

Philippians 2:10
10… at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

Whatever is troubling you, if it has a name, it must bow to the name of Jesus! Cancer must bow to the name of Jesus. Poverty must bow. Shame must bow. The Bible tells us that God has highly exalted Jesus and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee must bow!

That is exactly what happened when a severely demon-possessed man saw Jesus. The demons in him — called Legion for there were many of them — not only begged Jesus not to torment them, but they also fled when Jesus commanded them to go. The man was left whole, healed and in his right mind. (Luke 8:26–35)

My late father was similarly delivered from his drinking addiction of many years. I remember how he was in a drunken stupor one day. I prayed over him in Jesus’ name for him to be loosed from his addiction to alcohol. He threw up violently soon after that and from that moment on, he never touched the bottle again!

Beloved, if your child is sick, lay hands on him and say, “In Jesus’ name, cough, stop. Fever, go in Jesus’ name. Health flows in your body in Jesus’ name!” If there is strife and confusion at home, deal with it the same way. I have used the name of Jesus as I prayed for a couple who were quarrelling in a food center. It was amazing. All the strife between them seemed to melt away and they started to talk calmly after that.

That is the power of the name of Jesus because that is the name of the one who died for you, who rose again and today is at the right hand of God, for you! That is the name which is above every name, and at which every knee must and will bow!

Don’t Sweat It, Rest!

I used to do things on my own thinking that I was so smart
to deal with it.

I read a lot of how-to books.
How to heal yourself.
How to gain financial success.
How to win friends and influence people.
How to be a millionare.

Name it. lolx!

After finishing a book. I'd get inspired.
For days..and even weeks.

After that, I'm back to my old self again.
Asking another different set of questions this time,
on a different level.

I felt I was just going around
in circles with nothing much changes in my life.

I felt I was so lost and the activities of the world
had stopped inspiring me like I just wanted to end my life
just like that.

The thought of believing God somehow, had helped me to keep on going on.

I felt in my heart, there must be some reasons why I exist.

To find real answers.and discover the TRUTH.

With all the troubles , problems, setbacks that I was having,
that little spark of hope and "FAITH" in me has lead me to
find God.

Because I wanted more out of this life.
I want to live a victorious life!

I wanted a life that has no problems...and no stress.

Now , with Jesus, I found out that there will always be problems
and stress wherever you go. Even on your bed at night, you'd feel it
and then nightmares come to catch you.

Yes!

There will be problems in this world.
But with Jesus.. you will have a way in how to deal with it.

You can still have problems...but no stress.

Your world maybe shaking but in you there's peace.

Thats the power of staying with Jesus.
You won't get lost because you're with the Light.

For now, I cant say that I am in a perfect situation.
Troubles in my life come again and again.

But what do I do?

My secret.

I just give it all to Jesus..

Now I can always have fun.. No worries..Just pure fun!

Is that what God wants us to do? Be like a child and stay with Him
as our refuge.

Jesus came to give us LIFE!

In many years of my life. I haven't experience this so much peace within.

It's amazing.
Now I don't need to read how-to books anymore.
no, I'm not saying that reading books is bad.
You can do it for gaining knowledge or for some personal pleasure
but to gain God's wisdom.. seek Him.
And everything will have meaning.

I just rest in Him..and I'm secure!

Sharing another powerful message from Pastor Prince.
Enjoy everyone and Happy Christmas!!

Ruth 3:18
18Then she said, “Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.”

God does not want you to “sweat”. Sweat here does not refer to your body’s perspiration, but your self-reliance or self-effort. God does not want you to believe that if you don’t do anything, nothing will happen. That may be true for someone without God in his life, but it is not true for you because you have God. And when He is in the picture, the God-factor changes everything!

When you are resting in God, He works for you. In fact, when He works, you end up with more. He is the one who is giving to you. It is not about you trying to give to yourself.

This was what happened to Ruth in the Old Testament. After laboring in the barley fields from morning to evening, she was able to glean one ephah of barley (Ruth 2:17), which was equivalent to a 10-day supply of barley. Certainly, this amount was a blessing to her.

But when she rested at the feet of Boaz, her kinsman-redeemer, and did not labor, she received six ephahs of barley (Ruth 3:15), which was equivalent to a 60-day supply! When Ruth sought her own blessing, she obtained only one ephah. But when she sought the blesser, she received much more.

Ruth’s blessings did not stop there. While Ruth rested and sat still as her mother-in-law Naomi had instructed, Boaz, who was the owner of the barley field, went to work, initiating actions, executing them and speaking on Ruth’s behalf. Right through it all, Ruth sat still and rested. Eventually, Boaz, the barley man himself, married Ruth. (Ruth 4) That meant no more measured wealth of six ephahs, but the yield of the whole barley field in total!

Boaz is a picture of Jesus, our heavenly kinsman-redeemer. When we rest in the Lord, He will not rest. He will work on our behalf. What do we do then? We just trust in and enjoy His love for us.

Beloved, stop striving and be at rest. If salvation, the greatest work, comes to us by resting in Jesus’ finished work, how much more will all the other blessings?

Thank you, Jesus!

Hi my dear friends.
I'm back with no more sore throat!
Last night I caught a bit of a cold but now it's gone.
I had a very peaceful sleep.

Just awesome!

"One thousand and one shall fall on my side,
ten thousand shall fall on my right hand
BUT those diseases shall not come near me!"

God's healing words are sooooo true!

Now let me thank Him for that.

Thank you Jesus for by your stripes I am healed!!!

Halleluyah!!!

Let me share with you some thoughts from Pastor Prince.
Feed into God's Words daily and you will have LIFE!

" Feed On God’s Word Daily

Matthew 4:4
4But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

The Bible tells us that God breathed into man and he became a living being. (Genesis 2:7) It also tells us that all Scripture is God-breathed. (2 Timothy 3:16, NIV) This means that when you read the Bible or listen to God’s Word preached, you are imbibing the very breath of God which gives you life.

That is why there may have been times you walked into church feeling tired at first, but left at the end of the service feeling refreshed and energized. God’s Word had breathed life into your body! I have also seen many of our church members becoming healthier, stronger and even younger-looking because they spend time in God’s Word.

It is no wonder that Proverbs 4:22 tells us that God’s words are “life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh”. So if you are under the weather or if symptoms are attacking your body, double up on God’s medicine. Simply feed more on God’s Word, and you will find life and health flowing through your body again.

Jesus said that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. If it is important to eat our meals every day, how much more feeding on God’s Word? Jesus wants us to know that we need God’s Word even more than our daily meals. He made us, so He knows best what our bodies need daily.

So whatever you do, remember to get your daily feeding of God’s Word. Read your Bible in the comfort of your home or in the office during your lunch break. Play sermon CDs while driving to work or doing household chores. If you prefer something more visual, watch DVDs on the preaching of His Word. Choose whichever form you prefer and get His Word into you!

Beloved, you cannot live when you stop breathing. In the same way, you cannot live without the Word because it is the very breath of God which gives you life and health!"
