Seek God’s Kingdom And He Will Solve Your Problems

It's true. When we tend to look on the outside..on all around us and even
on the things that don't concern us,
surely, disappointments, depressions, worries and pains are up there ready to
eat us alive!

Look at the world.

Plane crashes, H1N1, recession, politicians that don't impress us, terrorism,
Iran, hunger, poverty, deaths, Michael Jackson.

and even at home, we have no escape..simple arguments with wives/husbands,
personal clashes with families, etc.

at work..bitchy boss, a**hole colleagues, deadlines, stress, rat race.

and even in our ownselves, we always have our own battle that needs to be won.
Like our insecurities, wants, choices, goals, confusions and sickness.

On the outside, for me it is so sickening.

and let me say it again, it's a cycle!

In the natural, it seems like there's no hope for all of these.

And that's where stress starts to build up.

unconsciously your world starts to go blank..

even when you pray a lot..there's seems no hope.

Enuff!!

Well, few years ago , that's what I thought too.

And then..

JESUS came...

Yes, He rescued me!

He redeemed me!

He has set me free from all of these!

and then ...I feel PEACE ..

"Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you… "
JOHN 14:27

Yes! I am referring to that PEACE Jesus' is talking about in the Bible.

Now? I am soooo much ok!

Newspapers can bombard the world with a lot of bad news

but here I am,,,in Jesus with so much Peace.

How did I attain that Peace? I got so much to share.

Will be sharing more of MY PEACE later on friends as we go along.

For now..I am sharing a very powerful devotional from Pastor Joseph Prince.

Read on and have a powerful, blessed and peaceful Friday!

Seek God’s Kingdom And He Will Solve Your Problems

Romans 14:17
17… the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Are you troubled by many things today? For example, are you concerned about your rebellious teenager? Perhaps you see him as your problem, so you do your best to discipline him, only to end up with a heart full of worries and pain. And he is no better!

God says to you, “Don’t focus on controlling your rebellious teenager. Instead, seek first My kingdom, which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Be conscious of the righteousness you have as a gift from My Son. Keep your inner man flowing with My peace and joy, and I will take care of your child.”

We tend to think that the people around us are the problem. When we don’t get the promotion we want, we blame our bosses and colleagues. When we lose our temper, we blame our wives and kids. However, God wants us to stop looking outside and to start looking within because His kingdom is within us. (Luke 17:21)

The abundance of the kingdom of God is already inside you. As you seek first God’s kingdom, and follow His righteousness, peace and joy, the abundance within you will flow out and become a reality in your circumstances. (Matthew 6:33) You will find that God has not only taken care of what is troubling you, but has also added blessings to you, be it a promotion, well-behaved kids or a loving wife.

“But Pastor Prince, how do I keep my inner man flowing with righteousness, peace and joy?”

Be conscious of your righteousness in Christ. Don’t be conscious of your sins and problems. Listen to anointed sermons that remind you of how righteous you are because of the perfect sacrifice of Christ. Peace and joy flow when you know that all your sins have been forgiven because of Jesus’ finished work.

So the next time something troubles you, don’t focus on correcting the problem. Instead, seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness. Make it a priority to have your inner man flowing with His peace and joy, and He will take care of that problem for you!

Korn's Former Guitarist Says Newfound Faith Is 'Real'

I have stumbled upon this and I really feel I need to post this here in my blog.
I love reading Brian "Head"'s testimony on how he almost gave up his life
and then Jesus found him.

REad on...

Korn's Former Guitarist Says Newfound Faith Is 'Real'
Kelli Cottrell
Baptist Press
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Former Korn lead guitarist Brian “Head” Welch wanted to die.

Until he found something to live for.

“Now I’m living a fairytale,” said Welch, 34, who was a founding member of the hard-rock band Korn. “I swear this is real.”

Before a crowd of 10,000, in three services at Valley Bible Fellowship in Bakersfield, Calif., Welch recounted how his life was changed.

And how desperate he was just a few weeks ago.

“I was addicted to methamphetamines and tried everything ... rehab, stuff on the Internet, but nothing helped me kick it,” said Welch, sitting on stage with pastor Ron Vietti before fans, media and church members Feb. 27.

“I was trying on my own to quit and couldn’t do it. I wanted to die. No one knew what I was going through. I could not quit. Church was my last shot,” said Welch, who wore a black T-shirt, torn jeans and two braids in his hair.

“I would sit in church high [on drugs],” he said. “I would wonder why people would go up to the front after the service. But one day it was for me. I said [to God], ‘Show me how to quit.’”

Vietti remembers a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt nodding his head at the altar call.

“He always wore the hood,” the pastor said. “Now I’m mentoring him.”

After surrendering his life to Jesus six weeks ago, Welch has not been the same person.

“Just like that I was able to quit drugs,” he said, illustrating with a snap of his fingers. “I realized God will do whatever it takes to make Himself real. I swear this is real.”

In the world’s eyes, Welch said, he had it all.

“I had money, women, drugs of choice,” he said. “But none of it brings happiness. You’ll never find fulfillment in those things. I did it. I was so low. I told God, ‘Just kill me, please.’”

He remembers crying on a daily basis in his misery.

“Instead He’s made me the happiest man in the world,” said Welch, who recently had “Jesus” tattooed across the knuckles of his left hand and Matthew 11:28 on his neck.

He explained that he is thankful for everything now.

“I drive down the street in my Hummer and I look at the sky and say, ‘Thank You, Jesus’,” said Welch, the single father of a 6-year-old daughter.

On Feb. 28, Welch and Vietti joined the church’s Holy Land tour to Israel where Welch plans to be baptized in the Jordan River by Vietti, a pastor for 25 years.

“He used to tell me he would cry every day because he was so sad and now he cries every day out of joy,” Vietti said.

Welch explained why he had Jesus tattooed on his knuckles.

“I was so low I owe it to God that everything I touch I see Jesus,” the guitarist said. “I don’t want to sin at all anymore.”

Hope That Does Not Disappoint

I used to hope for something that I really wanted to happen or
for some things that I want to have in my life.

I hoped for a better life, stable job, nice family, good health, prosperity.

But I cannot see the future, so I just kept hoping and

was trapped in a popular adage "Come what may"..

If it comes..Thank you God.
If it doesn't...of course there will be some disappointments somewhere.

I was lost in hoping.

And when I became too "weary" in that state.

I almost gave up hoping.

Again, it was a cycle. And I reaaaaaally wanted to break it.

Now, Jesus had changed me. He changed the way I "hope" for things to come.

He gives me good hope because I am His child..

I am favoured by God! And by His Grace , I know I'd live well !

Yeah, I believe my God is giving me a good future!

A blessed and quality life where I can blog and twit all day all for His Glory!

It doesn't matter where I am today. Whether I am just renting a room here in Singapore.

Or my mom is outhere in Cebu renting her own place too.

Or I only have a hundred $ on my atm...it really doesn't matter at all.

Because it is just temporary.

I am in His hands now. And I believe God will see me well, take care of me,

and protect me.

I'm gona keep claiming on that.

So make a way!

Read on...and have a powerful Wednesday!!

"Hope That Does Not Disappoint"

Romans 5:5
5Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Today, we express hope as if we can’t be sure what will really happen. We say, “I hope I will win that prize. I hope it won’t rain tomorrow. I hope everything works out well.”

But “hope” in the Bible is a confident and positive expectation of good. God wants you to have a confident expectation of good because as His child, He favors you. Because Christ is in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27), you can expect the glory of God to shine into every area of your life, including your family, job, ministry, health and finances!

God’s Word says, “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” You may have experienced disappointed hopes, but there is a hope that does not disappoint when you are conscious of how much God loves you. It is a hope that springs from the heart of God, who loves you very much.

It is interesting that the first mention of the Holy Spirit in the book of Romans is tied up with the love of God. The book of Romans is considered foundational for Christians. Could it be that the first thing the Holy Spirit wants to do is to establish in our hearts that God loves us? Many people think that the Holy Spirit has come to teach us about power. But the truth is that the Holy Spirit has come not to reveal the love for power, but the power of love!

My friend, you may have just lost your job. But if you can say, “Jesus loves me this I know,” you can also say, “I believe that I will get a better job tomorrow.” Your girlfriend may have just left you for your best friend. But because you can say, “Jesus loves me this I know,” you can also say, “I’ll meet a better girl.”

When you believe that God loves you, you will have a positive expectation of good. You will have a hope that does not disappoint. So be careful what you hope for because you are bound to get it!

I Speak In Tongues

There are moments in my life that I am blank.

I couldn't think or don't know what to do or say
about a certain issue or circumstance in my life.

I don't know how to deal a problem.

I am so helpless, that even if I pray I feel so defenseless.

I sought the Lord and asked if there is any way that I can do better than this?

Then He showed me how to speak in tongues.

At first, hearing other believers do it gave me a weird feeling.
But unconsciously, I know that it touched me somewhere because
now, I am so into it.

I speak in tongues when I walk. Hey! it's better than yoga or meditation, you know~

I speak in tongues when I'm pissed off and losing a lot of patience.

I speak in tongues when I don't know what to think or say. It's better than groaning.

I speak in tongues when I feel so stressed out about just anything.

Do you know why I keep doing that?

Because....

It calms me down.

It refreshes me even if I do it for just a few seconds.

Even as I'm typing this right now, I am speaking in tongues.

I know deep within, the Holy Spirit is doing the job for me.

Learn to let the Holy Spirit do the job for you.

Read more from Pastor Joseph Prince...

"How The Holy Spirit Helps Us"

Romans 8:26
26Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The Holy Spirit is not inside you to point out your faults or nag at you when you do wrong. God’s Word tells us that He is inside us to help us in our weaknesses. In areas where we are without strength, He is there to help us. When we don’t know what to pray, “the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered”.

Now, don’t read the verse and say, “Well, I don’t know what I should pray for, and since the Holy Spirit makes intercession for me, I will leave the praying to Him.”

If the Holy Spirit, without our participation, makes intercession for us, then every Christian would be living victorious lives automatically! But we know that there are many Christians who don’t seem to be walking in the fullness of God’s blessings. So obviously, Romans 8:26 is not saying that. What is it saying then?

In the first part of the verse, the word “helps” is sunantilambanomai in the original Greek text. It means “to take hold together against”. Now, “together” means that our participation is required. In other words, the Holy Spirit sunantilambanomai or takes hold together with us against the problem.

So if you just sit back and don’t take hold of the problem, the Holy Spirit has nothing to “take hold of” with you. If you don’t pray, He has nothing to pray. If you keep quiet, then even if He wants to pray through you, He can’t. But when you release your prayer in tongues, you are actually allowing Him to pray through you. And He will take hold together with you against the problem, and pray the perfect prayer through you because “He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God”. (Romans 8:27)

And you can be confident that when you ask anything according to the will of God, He hears you. And if you know that He hears you, whatever you ask, you know that you have the petitions that you have asked of Him! (1 John 5:14–15)

See The Abundance Within You

See The Abundance Within You

Luke 17:21
21… For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

When you were younger, were you often scolded for not finishing all your food or leaving the lights and fan on when you left your room? Were you constantly reminded that there are people starving in the world, that electricity costs a lot of money and that money doesn’t grow on trees? Now, do you find yourself telling your child the same things?

We are naturally conscious of lack, but Jesus isn’t. Even in the midst of lack, He was always conscious of abundance. Remember the little boy’s five loaves and two fish? What did Jesus do when these were placed in His hands? Did He say, “What do you expect Me to do with so little?” No, His eyes were not on the natural, the visible, the lack. His eyes were on the kingdom of God where there is always abundance. So in His hands, the little boy’s lunch was multiplied, and 5,000 men, not counting women and children, were fed that day! (John 6:1–13)

God doesn’t want you to be conscious of the lack in your natural circumstances. He doesn’t want you to live by how much you earn or how much you have in the bank. Now, I am not encouraging you to spend foolishly beyond your means. I am saying that God wants you to be conscious of the abundance of resources in His kingdom.

“But Pastor Prince, where is that kingdom?”

As long as you have received Jesus as your Savior, that kingdom is in you!

Jesus said that “the kingdom of God is within you”. This means that the kingdom of God is not some physical place. It is within you and it is where the abundance of resources is. So if you want to experience abundance in your life, be conscious first of the abundance inside you. Then, what is inside you will become a reality on the outside.

Beloved, God doesn’t want you to be conscious of the lack you see outside you. He wants you to be conscious of the abundance within you because His kingdom is within you!
