Michael Jackson Couldn't Sleep

Reading from the latest update of Michael Jackson's death

has given me a very grateful heart...

No, it's not because Michael died. . . it's something else.

Let me give you some snippets of the latest Michael Jackson's investigation

on his death.

"The powerful sedative Diprivan was found in Michael Jackson's home.

Diprivan is an anesthetic widely used in operating rooms to induce unconsciousness. Also known as Propofol, it's given intravenously and is very unusual to have in a private home.

Jackson was known to have suffered from severe insomnia. In the weeks before his death, Cherilyn Lee, a registered nurse who was working with the singer, said Jackson pleaded for Diprivan amid the stress of preparing for a massive series of comeback concerts.

Lee said she repeatedly rejected his demands because the drug was unsafe.

Told Friday that Diprivan had been found at Jackson's house, she said, "I did everything I could to warn him against it."

Jackson had trouble sleeping as far back as 1989, said one of his former publicists, Rob Goldstone, who spent a month on the road with Jackson during the "Bad" tour.

"He had very bad nightmares, he found it very difficult to sleep," Goldstone said.

Diprivan, which has a milky appearance, is sometimes nicknamed "milk of amnesia." Last fall, doctors from the Mayo Clinic warned at a conference that in rare cases, Diprivan can trigger an irreversible chain of events leading to heart dysfunction and death."

Reading from it all.

I can say that this doesn't happen to Michael Jackson alone.

It happens to everyone who doesn't want to look up

and just simply talk to God about their worries, problems, depressions and frustrations in life.

Instead, they look unto what their pockets could do and have..

as if they can just purchase LIFE in a drugstore anytime.

Yeah! Buy some drugs! (which is just temporary)

Michael Jackson has the millions. But he couldn't buy that sleep that

he's been longing for.

He has fame, but his fans and followers can only adore his name, twit about his songs

and get fascinated by his dance moves.

Maybe his family , friends or loved ones right now have thought of giving up his millions

or even fame just to bring his life back.

But it doesn't work that way.:(

I am just glad Jesus has found me and have turned series of events of the world

to know that really, nothing in this world can fill that void in one's heart.

Not drugs, alcohol, fame, party all the time, money or shopping.

And most of all,

no one can give me that deep, quality sleep which Michael Jackson is deprived of.

It's only Jesus!!!

Lemme say it again.. it's JESUUUUUS!!!

Thank you Jesuss!! Keep me and my loved ones in your heart forever!

Thank you for

Jesus said...

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]
JOHN 16:33

Yes. Jesus I'm getting there! Thank you!

Seek God’s Kingdom And He Will Solve Your Problems

It's true. When we tend to look on the outside..on all around us and even
on the things that don't concern us,
surely, disappointments, depressions, worries and pains are up there ready to
eat us alive!

Look at the world.

Plane crashes, H1N1, recession, politicians that don't impress us, terrorism,
Iran, hunger, poverty, deaths, Michael Jackson.

and even at home, we have no escape..simple arguments with wives/husbands,
personal clashes with families, etc.

at work..bitchy boss, a**hole colleagues, deadlines, stress, rat race.

and even in our ownselves, we always have our own battle that needs to be won.
Like our insecurities, wants, choices, goals, confusions and sickness.

On the outside, for me it is so sickening.

and let me say it again, it's a cycle!

In the natural, it seems like there's no hope for all of these.

And that's where stress starts to build up.

unconsciously your world starts to go blank..

even when you pray a lot..there's seems no hope.

Enuff!!

Well, few years ago , that's what I thought too.

And then..

JESUS came...

Yes, He rescued me!

He redeemed me!

He has set me free from all of these!

and then ...I feel PEACE ..

"Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you… "
JOHN 14:27

Yes! I am referring to that PEACE Jesus' is talking about in the Bible.

Now? I am soooo much ok!

Newspapers can bombard the world with a lot of bad news

but here I am,,,in Jesus with so much Peace.

How did I attain that Peace? I got so much to share.

Will be sharing more of MY PEACE later on friends as we go along.

For now..I am sharing a very powerful devotional from Pastor Joseph Prince.

Read on and have a powerful, blessed and peaceful Friday!

Seek God’s Kingdom And He Will Solve Your Problems

Romans 14:17
17… the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Are you troubled by many things today? For example, are you concerned about your rebellious teenager? Perhaps you see him as your problem, so you do your best to discipline him, only to end up with a heart full of worries and pain. And he is no better!

God says to you, “Don’t focus on controlling your rebellious teenager. Instead, seek first My kingdom, which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Be conscious of the righteousness you have as a gift from My Son. Keep your inner man flowing with My peace and joy, and I will take care of your child.”

We tend to think that the people around us are the problem. When we don’t get the promotion we want, we blame our bosses and colleagues. When we lose our temper, we blame our wives and kids. However, God wants us to stop looking outside and to start looking within because His kingdom is within us. (Luke 17:21)

The abundance of the kingdom of God is already inside you. As you seek first God’s kingdom, and follow His righteousness, peace and joy, the abundance within you will flow out and become a reality in your circumstances. (Matthew 6:33) You will find that God has not only taken care of what is troubling you, but has also added blessings to you, be it a promotion, well-behaved kids or a loving wife.

“But Pastor Prince, how do I keep my inner man flowing with righteousness, peace and joy?”

Be conscious of your righteousness in Christ. Don’t be conscious of your sins and problems. Listen to anointed sermons that remind you of how righteous you are because of the perfect sacrifice of Christ. Peace and joy flow when you know that all your sins have been forgiven because of Jesus’ finished work.

So the next time something troubles you, don’t focus on correcting the problem. Instead, seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness. Make it a priority to have your inner man flowing with His peace and joy, and He will take care of that problem for you!

Korn's Former Guitarist Says Newfound Faith Is 'Real'

I have stumbled upon this and I really feel I need to post this here in my blog.
I love reading Brian "Head"'s testimony on how he almost gave up his life
and then Jesus found him.

REad on...

Korn's Former Guitarist Says Newfound Faith Is 'Real'
Kelli Cottrell
Baptist Press
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Former Korn lead guitarist Brian “Head” Welch wanted to die.

Until he found something to live for.

“Now I’m living a fairytale,” said Welch, 34, who was a founding member of the hard-rock band Korn. “I swear this is real.”

Before a crowd of 10,000, in three services at Valley Bible Fellowship in Bakersfield, Calif., Welch recounted how his life was changed.

And how desperate he was just a few weeks ago.

“I was addicted to methamphetamines and tried everything ... rehab, stuff on the Internet, but nothing helped me kick it,” said Welch, sitting on stage with pastor Ron Vietti before fans, media and church members Feb. 27.

“I was trying on my own to quit and couldn’t do it. I wanted to die. No one knew what I was going through. I could not quit. Church was my last shot,” said Welch, who wore a black T-shirt, torn jeans and two braids in his hair.

“I would sit in church high [on drugs],” he said. “I would wonder why people would go up to the front after the service. But one day it was for me. I said [to God], ‘Show me how to quit.’”

Vietti remembers a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt nodding his head at the altar call.

“He always wore the hood,” the pastor said. “Now I’m mentoring him.”

After surrendering his life to Jesus six weeks ago, Welch has not been the same person.

“Just like that I was able to quit drugs,” he said, illustrating with a snap of his fingers. “I realized God will do whatever it takes to make Himself real. I swear this is real.”

In the world’s eyes, Welch said, he had it all.

“I had money, women, drugs of choice,” he said. “But none of it brings happiness. You’ll never find fulfillment in those things. I did it. I was so low. I told God, ‘Just kill me, please.’”

He remembers crying on a daily basis in his misery.

“Instead He’s made me the happiest man in the world,” said Welch, who recently had “Jesus” tattooed across the knuckles of his left hand and Matthew 11:28 on his neck.

He explained that he is thankful for everything now.

“I drive down the street in my Hummer and I look at the sky and say, ‘Thank You, Jesus’,” said Welch, the single father of a 6-year-old daughter.

On Feb. 28, Welch and Vietti joined the church’s Holy Land tour to Israel where Welch plans to be baptized in the Jordan River by Vietti, a pastor for 25 years.

“He used to tell me he would cry every day because he was so sad and now he cries every day out of joy,” Vietti said.

Welch explained why he had Jesus tattooed on his knuckles.

“I was so low I owe it to God that everything I touch I see Jesus,” the guitarist said. “I don’t want to sin at all anymore.”
