Psalm 91:5–6 | |
During World War II, German planes bombed London. Houses were leveled. But there was one that remained standing amidst the rubble. Its owner said that when she read Psalm 121:4, which says, “Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep,” she told the Lord, “Lord, since You don’t sleep, then there is no point in both of us keeping awake. I will sleep while You keep watch.” And she did, while the Lord protected her and her house. In 2005, terrorists attacked London’s public transport system. That day, a Singaporean girl found herself unexpectedly late for work and could not get to the train station in time to board her usual train. When she finally neared the station, she realized that it had been bombed just a few minutes earlier. Her mother, who worships in our church, believes that God protected her daughter that day. God wants you to know that you have round-the-clock protection — “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.” He protects you from “the terror by night”, which could refer to evils such as rape, kidnap or murder. He promises you protection from “the arrow that flies by day”. This could refer to bullets from a crazy sniper, drive-by shootings or home-made rockets fired into your territory. God also shields you from “the pestilence that walks in darkness”, referring to viruses which you cannot see. You don’t have to be afraid of deadly viruses lurking somewhere or wonder if some deadly disease is developing in your body. God also doesn’t want you to be afraid of “the destruction that lays waste at noonday”, such as a tsunami hitting the beach resort you are at, or a bomb going off in the shopping mall you are in. You need not be afraid because God, who neither slumbers nor sleeps, is watching over you 24 hours a day! |

I Keep Praising My Abba, Father No Matter What
Thanking God At All Times
Hebrews 13:15
15Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
Lifting up your hands and thanking God is spontaneous and easy when you have just received a wonderful blessing: “God, I can’t thank You enough for this miracle!”
“Thank You Father, for answering my prayer!”
“Father, thank You for the windfall!”
Perhaps you came close to being in a fatal accident, but God plucked you out of danger just in time. Or your grandmother, an unbeliever for many years, finally received Jesus as her Savior and got healed of a long-term disease.
But there are times when you don’t feel like lifting up your hands to thank and praise God, yet you do it. Perhaps you feel very discouraged lately. Perhaps everything is going wrong for you and you feel like your life is in a mess. You can’t hold back the tears. Yet, you make a conscious decision to lift your hands and thank God for being in the situation with you. You open your mouth and begin to praise Him even though you really don’t feel like doing it.
In the midst of the trial that you are going through, you praise Him that He is your righteousness in spite of all the mistakes you have made. You thank Him that He is your Prince of Peace, and that His peace will arise in you and still the storms in your life.
My friend, God sees and appreciates such times when, despite feeling so discouraged, you offer a freewill thanksgiving offering to Him. In fact, your thanksgiving during such times is more highly prized by Him than your thanksgiving during those times when you are feeling joyful because you have just been blessed.
And when you choose to thank Him for His unfailing love, and His faithfulness to deliver, protect and provide for you even when you don’t see the blessings yet, before long, you will find yourself experiencing and enjoying the blessings! So lift your hands and praise the Lord, for He is good, and His mercy endures forever! (Psalm 106:1)

Michael Jackson Couldn't Sleep
Reading from the latest update of Michael Jackson's death
has given me a very grateful heart...
No, it's not because Michael died. . . it's something else.
Let me give you some snippets of the latest Michael Jackson's investigation
on his death.
"The powerful sedative Diprivan was found in Michael Jackson's home.
Diprivan is an anesthetic widely used in operating rooms to induce unconsciousness. Also known as Propofol, it's given intravenously and is very unusual to have in a private home.
Jackson was known to have suffered from severe insomnia. In the weeks before his death, Cherilyn Lee, a registered nurse who was working with the singer, said Jackson pleaded for Diprivan amid the stress of preparing for a massive series of comeback concerts.
Lee said she repeatedly rejected his demands because the drug was unsafe.
Told Friday that Diprivan had been found at Jackson's house, she said, "I did everything I could to warn him against it."
Jackson had trouble sleeping as far back as 1989, said one of his former publicists, Rob Goldstone, who spent a month on the road with Jackson during the "Bad" tour.
"He had very bad nightmares, he found it very difficult to sleep," Goldstone said.
Diprivan, which has a milky appearance, is sometimes nicknamed "milk of amnesia." Last fall, doctors from the Mayo Clinic warned at a conference that in rare cases, Diprivan can trigger an irreversible chain of events leading to heart dysfunction and death."
Reading from it all.
I can say that this doesn't happen to Michael Jackson alone.
It happens to everyone who doesn't want to look up
and just simply talk to God about their worries, problems, depressions and frustrations in life.
Instead, they look unto what their pockets could do and have..
as if they can just purchase LIFE in a drugstore anytime.
Yeah! Buy some drugs! (which is just temporary)
Michael Jackson has the millions. But he couldn't buy that sleep that
he's been longing for.
He has fame, but his fans and followers can only adore his name, twit about his songs
and get fascinated by his dance moves.
Maybe his family , friends or loved ones right now have thought of giving up his millions
or even fame just to bring his life back.
But it doesn't work that way.:(
I am just glad Jesus has found me and have turned series of events of the world
to know that really, nothing in this world can fill that void in one's heart.
Not drugs, alcohol, fame, party all the time, money or shopping.
And most of all,
no one can give me that deep, quality sleep which Michael Jackson is deprived of.
It's only Jesus!!!
Lemme say it again.. it's JESUUUUUS!!!
Thank you Jesuss!! Keep me and my loved ones in your heart forever!
Thank you for
Welcome to Michael Jackson's bedroom.
