Listening to praise songs lifts me up everytime I'm down, bored or confused.
I keep doing it.
It feels good just listening to it that I forget my bad situation.
One event of my life when my dad passed away. Instead of bursting out of tears
and depression, I plugged in my ipod and soaked on any Christian songs like
the New Creation, Hillsongs, and many others.
A voice deep within comforts me telling me that everything's going to be ok.
There's total peace in me whatever the situation maybe.
Hear what Pastor Joseph Prince has to say about listening to praise and worship songs.
"Lift Songs Of Praise To The Lord
Ephesians 5:17
17Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
God wants us to walk as wise men and women, and not as fools. (Ephesians 5:15) Now, He will not tell us to walk in wisdom without showing us how. That is why His Word goes on to say, “Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”
So what is the will of God? The next two verses tell us how to identify it: “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord”. (Ephesians 5:18–19)
As you allow yourself to be filled with the Spirit by lifting songs of praise to the Lord, singing or speaking (God knows some of us can’t sing!) psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, and making melody in your heart to the Lord, God promises that you will know what His will is for your situation. You will then have the wisdom to decide wisely what to do next.
I have found this to be true in my own life. Whenever I face a difficult situation, the more I think about it, the more confused I get. The more I try my best to come up with a smart solution, the further the answer seems to get from me. But when I turn away from my problem and turn to God, singing in the Spirit and praising Him, I get a clearer perspective of the problem when I come back to it later. I also find an inner prompting to make certain decisions which in the end, turn out to be better than anything I could have come up with on my own.
So my friend, lift up songs of praise to the Lord, whether times are good or bad. For when you fill your mouth with praises to God, He will lead you and guide you in all the affairs of your life. Even if you are stuck with a problem, He will show you the way to go or make a way out for you. Either way, you will get the wisdom and help that you need!

Quit Trying to Please Everybody
Quit Trying to Please Everybody
by Rick Warren
"It is dangerous to be concerned with what others think of you" (Proverbs 29:25 GN).
When we worry about what other people think, we let them control us. We waste a lot of time and energy trying to figure out what other people want us to be. Then, we waste a lot of time and energy trying to become like that rather than just being what God made us to be. You're manipulated and controlled by somebody else.
Worrying about what other people think is dangerous because we're more likely to cave in to criticism. It means we don't always do the right thing; instead, we do the thing that everybody wants us to do.
And we're in danger of missing God's best because we're so worried about what other people what us to do that we can't stop to think about what God wants us to do.
• Fact #1: You cannot please everybody. Even God can't please everybody. One person prays for it to rain; another prays for it to be sunny. In the Super Bowl, both teams are praying that they will win. Who is God going to answer? God can't please everybody. Only a fool would try to do what even God can't do. You can't please everybody.
• Fact #2: It's not necessary to please everybody. There is a myth that says you must be loved and approved by everybody in order to be happy. That's just not true. You don't have to please everybody in order to be happy in life.
• Fact #3: Rejection will not ruin your life. It hurts, sure. It's not fun. It's uncomfortable. But rejection will not ruin your life unless you let it.
Quit trying to please everybody! Remember that nobody can make you feel inferior unless you give them permission.
The Apostle Paul says, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31 TEV) This means we can think like this: 'God likes me, and I like me; if you don't like me, then you've got a problem. If God likes me, who cares that everybody doesn't approve of everything I do.'
Remember, nothing you ever do will make God love you less. Nothing you ever do will make God love you more. He loves you completely right now.

That REST in Jesus
You know when Jesus tells us to Rest in Him doesn't
mean physical rest.
It means rest from your emotions.
Rest from your mind and spirit.
When you worry about something, have a lot of stress
in your monthly bills, studies, relationships, family issues, money and health you gotta break free from it!
Why do you need to break free?
Because simple. Stress is detrimental to your health.
I can share a lot of stories, news and studies proving that stress is bad. That it even causes one's death.
Jesus knows well. That's why He wants you to rest in Him.
You may ask me how do I do it?
Simple.
I just think of Jesus on the cross.
That thought alone can lead you to do things you
didn't expect that you had the motivation to do.
Like listening to cool worship and praise songs,
and anointed teachings.
There's a lot of it that you can do actually.
In the end, I'm 101% sure
Whatever circumstances that you're into
Jesus is going to make you smile.
Just like why I'm smiling right now:)

FW: Painted Feathers
"Have great hopes and dare to go all out for them. Have great dreams and dare to live them. Have tremendous expectations and believe in them."
The painters of these feathers are outstanding but the message below is even better.
God's Wings
A little something to put things in perspective...
After a forest fire in Yellowstone National Park , forest rangers began their trek up a mountain to assess the inferno's damage.
One ranger found a bird literally petrified in ashes, perched statuesquely on the ground at the base of a tree. Somewhat sickened by the eerie sight, he knocked over the bird with a stick. When he gently struck it, three tiny chicks scurried from under their dead mother's wings. The loving mother, keenly aware of impending disaster, had carried her offspring to the base of the tree and had gathered them under her wings, instinctively knowing that the toxic smoke would rise.
She could have flown to safety but had refused to abandon her babies.. Then the blaze had arrived and the heat had scorched her small body, the mother had remained steadfast ...because she had been willing to die, so those under the cover of her wings would live.
'He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.' (Psalm 91:4)
Being loved this much should make a difference in your life. Remember the One who loves you, and then be different because of it.

The GIFT

>Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him

>His father had carefully underlined a verse, Matt
>7:11, "And if ye, being evil know how to give good gifts to your

JESUS on the Beach
Pictures below are from a beach in Maryland . Isn't the artwork awesome? Be sure to open up your screen all the way. The man creates new ones each day, as the ocean washes away his work every day.
This is Chuck Ritchey, Sr. I have watched this man work on the beach at Ocean City , Maryland . Each time I watch him I marvel at his talent and fortitude because it is true that his works get washed away with the tide and he does them again. He is certainly a witness for Jesus Christ as thousands of people, in the course of a day, view his work and watch as he crafts his treasures. May his message be viewed by many.

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections!
God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but HE did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears & light for the way.
