LOVE: Not Guaranteed To Last Forever?

Saw this twit.

Well, I agree.
Human love doesn't last because in a relationship, everyone demands and gets tired.

Plus, if you base your feelings or love on your partner's personality and character, it will become shaky.

I cannot tell you on how to keep a relationship strong when it comes to the rest of us. I am lousy at that.

I can only point you to my relationship with Jesus alone.

Jesus' love for you and me is everlasting. I can assure you that.

If some point in your circumstance you wonder if He really loves you, google "Jesus at the Cross. Or Passion of Christ"
In there you will find images of Jesus beaten, scourged, mocked, covered with His own precious blood.

(I decided to google some pics of Jesus for you. )

See it. Feel it.

Imagine the pain that He went through before experiencing His ultimate death at the cross.

At the cross, He screamed,
"My God why have You forsaken me?"

So today, we can shout,
"Father, why have You sooooo blessed me??"

Yesssss!
He died so we can live!!!

He died because of His love for us. (not our love for Him)

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son
That whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. "

John 3:16

"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this:
While we were sinners, Christ died for us. "

Romans 5:8

Now that's what I call lasting and unconditional love.

Thank you Jesus!

Halleluyaaaah!

So now don't worry if you have experienced few broken relationships here and there. It happens to everyone and not just to you.

My advice is....
just come to Jesus and ask for the right person. He is listening and surely, He won't disappoint you.

John 10:10

Just wana share this article I found while googling for John 10:10 .... Be blessed!

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

Most people know the story of the 3 little pigs, it teaches you to do your work before you play, it says don't build with straw, don’t build with sticks, build something that lasts, build with bricks. The problem is that it suggest that you can really build something that lasts, by yourself. It also says, who's afraid of the big bad wolf - not me.
The first problem is that this world is passing away, the wages of sin is death, we all die, and the world as we know it will come to an end. We look forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the gift of God in Jesus Christ. Sure you can build a house of bricks, and it may keep you safe from some things, but its not enough. Even the 3 little pigs learned this, although the wold could not blow it down, if there was no fire in the fireplace, the wolf could come down the chimney. While you may have some wood for the fireplace, there comes a day when you run out, and must go out to get more, and the wolf will be waiting.
You just can't save yourself, there are many things you can do, many things you can try - but there is good reason to fear the big bad wolf - because its not one thing. These days there are many people who do not fear the devil. Many do not even believe he is real. But he is real, and we are told that he is a prowling lion looking for someone to destroy. The devil is real, and his is not our only enemy, the world and the flesh are also out to seduce us, and to destroy us.
We have 3 real enemies - these 3 are the thief. The thief has only come to steal, kill and destroy. Whenever you see loss, death, and destruction you know that the enemy is at work. And while there are many things you can do, and while you can certainly build a house of brick, and live a healthy lifestyle - no matter how hard we try, we cannot save ourselves.
We cannot save ourselves, but Jesus can, Jesus does. We cannot overcome sin, death and the devil by ourselves, but Jesus has. Jesus has overcome by the cross, and the empty tomb, and resurrection from the dead. Jesus has not only overcome, but Jesus has conquered. Jesus saves. Jesus can save us from the world, the flesh, and the devil, and Jesus can even save us from ourselves. Jesus came that he might give us life, not just ordinary life, but abundant life, everlasting life in the new heaven and the new earth where there is no more sin, or sickness, or suffering, or sorrow.
And while many people know about the 3 little pigs, the only thing that really matters, the only thing we really need to know, is to know about our Savior, to know about Jesus. People have taught us about Jesus, because Jesus is our Savior and we need a savior from the world, the flesh, and the devil who are all seeking to steal, kill and destroy.
So the Spirit works through the word to create faith in our hearts. Faith which teaches us to know our Saviors voice. Faith which leads us to follow him, faith which hope in the abundant and everlasting life which we are promised in his name. So Jesus has called us to life.

"Businessman dies in 5km PAssion Run event" with pic

I feel saddened for what I've read in the news today.
This man who collapsed last Saturday at 5km 100Plus PassionRun did not make it.

My prayer goes out to the family, friends and relatives ...Jesus please comfort them all.:(

According to his family, he is a very health conscious guy, he runs on weekdays and weekend to keep himself fit. He follows a strict diet too..that's why when this thing happened..everyone was shocked of his death.

Heard this story before? I did a lot of times.

I even heard news of some lady here in Singapore who was happily jogging her way home but suddenly dropped dead because some big tree fell down on her.

On this kind of death, I know, there will be so many, "Whys" "How comes" "What happened?" etc.

Some people would say, "that's life! We all have our own timings.." (which I firmly reject!)

Others who are struggling to accept this fate would say, "God allows this to happen for a reason." (I thought for some time God is the culprit but I was wrong.)

In this world, death is inevitible. You don't know when it will strike you . It doesn't choose who or what you are, if you're a multi-millionaire , famous, health buff or cancer-stricken.

It has many ways of killing you.  His ways are "voluntary" which occur in your mind (suicide), accidents, natural disasters, murder, deadly diseases like HIV, existing sickness and many more!

The world fears death... I used to fear it too.

But now everything has changed.

...because Jesus has lead me to the truth about death.

Jesus doesn't want us to die, that's why at the cross,  He died for us.
He has redeemed us with His precious blood so we can live FOREVER!!

This truth is a free gift...which everyone can believe and then enjoy!

I cannot tell you everything about LIFE or death on this thread for it is endless.

And I am not smart enough to give you theories or scientific studies as reference.
I suggest for now, you google it.

We all know death is hurting, It gives you alot of reason to cry, be frustrated, depressed and lonely. To sum it all up...losing someone you love is no joke! That's why I abhor death!

Now, there is just one thing that I should tell you.

The truth that I know is in my heart, and unfortunately I can only share it with you one day at a time...

or one blog at a time.

If somehow you happen to drop by here and you're a free thinker or nonbeliever...
I do not ask you to believe.. I know you have your own reasons why. And I respect that.

I can only tell you one thing though just one time...
close your eyes, and say "God whoever you are, please lead me to you. I don't want death to be around in me and my loved ones anymore. I want LIFE! Please lead me to an abundantly life!"

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly!"

Good morning Jesus!

Good morning Jesus. :)

I just thought of You this morning while walking my way to the office.

I know You are smiling at me right now. Enjoying the sunshine, drinking coffee perhaps.

I can see that You are now seating at the right hand of the Father because as you said,

"It is finished!"

Yes!

It is finished. You've done it right!

Now, no more struggle in asking for forgiveness because I have been forgiven from my past sins yesterday, today and forever!

God sees me perfect now because of Your precious blood.
I can only keep thanking You forever!!

Oh how wonderful it is!

Your amazing work at the cross has truly set me free from all bondages!

Again, I just wana thank you.

***smile****

Ok. I'm in the office. Please send me some energy to refresh and make it through the day.

Also, Please take care, bless and protect my Blog friends in here. I know You love all of them too.

Good morning everyone!

Which Is Easier To Say? by Joseph Prince

Which Is Easier To Say? by Joseph Prince

Colossians 2:13
13And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,

Let me ask you a question which Jesus asked the Pharisees: “Which is easier, to say [to the paralytic], ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’?” (Luke 5:23)

In the context of ministering to a paralytic, saying “Your sins are forgiven” is probably easier. Why? Because you don’t need an outward manifestation to prove that his sins are forgiven. But when you tell him, “Rise up and walk,” he must rise up and walk, or you will look very foolish! So that makes saying “Your sins are forgiven” easier than saying “Rise up and walk”.

The truth is, what is seemingly more difficult for man in the natural is not so for God. With God, physical healing is clearly “easier” for Him than forgiveness of sins. The latter is the “harder” and greater miracle because it required God to deliver up His beloved Son to take on all our sins and shed His blood on the cross.

Yet, when faced with a loved one stricken with cancer, or when gripped by mounting debts after being jobless for a long time, we seem to find it harder to believe and say that God has already given us the breakthroughs we need, than to believe and say that our sins are forgiven. Saying that our sins are forgiven seems easier than saying that God has already given us the miraculous physical healing, supernatural financial breakthrough or divine favor at the next job interview.

But since God has done the “harder” and greater miracle of “having forgiven you all trespasses”, there is nothing He will not do for you! (Romans 8:32) In fact, if you think that there is something that God is withholding from you, you are implying that that something is greater than the forgiveness of sins which Jesus died to give you! But nothing can be greater than the perfect sacrifice of Jesus.

So hear the Lord telling you today, “Your sins have been forgiven you. You have perfect acceptance before God. Rise up and be healed! Rise up and walk in health, wisdom, favor, protection and wholeness!”

Moved By The Spirit, Not Human Honey by Joseph Prince

Moved By The Spirit, Not Human Honey by Joseph Prince

Leviticus 2:11
11‘No grain offering which you bring to the Lord shall be made with leaven, for you shall burn no leaven nor any honey in any offering to the Lord made by fire.

Imagine yourself walking past the prodigal son sitting in the pigpen. (Luke 15:11–24) You look at him and see him salivating for the pigs’ food. Believing that it is good to show kindness, you give him money to buy food for himself.

That is human kindness which says, “I am a Christian. I should be kind, good and forgiving.” Such human sweetness or kindness may be likened to honey. Interestingly, while we elevate it, God tells His people not to bring Him a grain offering with honey in it.

The grain offering speaks of Jesus’ life on earth. Not mixing honey in the grain offering speaks of how the compassion and goodness we see in Jesus during His earthly ministry were all divine. There was no “honey” of human goodness that is tainted with human weakness.

In retrospect, the worst thing one could do for the prodigal son was to give him money when he was in the pigpen. Not only would he not have gone home, but what the Lord was doing in his heart would also have been spoiled. This is what happens when we go by the goodness of our human hearts instead of the goodness of God in our hearts, which is directed by His love, wisdom and perfect timing.

My friend, God does not want you to be moved by what you see but by His Spirit. There were many needy folks surrounding Jesus during His time on earth. But He did not heal every sick person around Him, feed every hungry stomach he passed or raise all who were dead. Isaiah 11:2–3 tells us that the Lord was not moved by what He saw or heard. He was moved only by the Spirit.

You too have the Spirit in you. (1 Corinthians 3:16) Be moved by Him. Follow the peace that He puts within your spirit to do or refrain from doing something. That peace is the peace of God. Acting on that peace will cause God to be exalted, and His divine goodness and kindness to really be a blessing to you and others!

22 Puppies For Adoption in AVA Singapore

Saw this in my Facebook wall's friend. If you're in Singapore and a dog lover, are you going to let this opportunity pass you by?

Help!! Puppies for Adoption

Please help to pass the email below around to your friends and anyone interested. These puppies need a home. Damn those smugglers. And AVA is not making things easier by slapping a 6 mth quarantine and an exorbitant fee. The most urgent case is the Golden Retriever. She will be out of quarantine in June. I do not want to think of what AVA would do if no one adopts her. I have someone who is willing to sponsor the $3200 fee for the Goldie if the person can give the doggie a home. (She already has many dogs and cannot take another one.) ___________________ From:Noorain_JUBLI@ava.gov.sg Dear Sir/Mdm, Thank you for your interest in adopting the puppies that were smuggled into Singapore. We have 22 puppies that are currently looking for homes. Details of the puppies are as follows :

1. Golden Retriever Female Date of quarantine release: 22 June 2011 Approx age at time of release: 10 months Pug (tan) (1 female, 1 male) Date of quarantine release:29 July 2011 Approx age at time of release: 7 months Shih Tzu (white & brown) (2 female, 1 male) Date of quarantine release: 29 July 2011 Approx age at time of release: 7 months Poodle (red) (3 female, 2 male) 29 July 2011 7 months British Bulldog (white & brown) (2 female, 2 male) 29 July 2011 7 months Poodle (red) (2 female, 1 male) 10 September 2011 7 months Japanese Spitz (3 female, 1 male) 10 September 2011 7 months

2 . The puppies have to undergo a 6 month quarantine to ensure that they are free from rabies. In addition, the puppies will be sterilised, microchipped and licensed before they are released from quarantine. The new owners for the puppies will be required to pay the quarantine fees which will include the costs of all vaccinations (such as puppy vaccinations and rabies vaccinations), rabies antibody titre testing, de-worming, external parasite treatment, feed and care for the 6 month quarantine period, sterilisation, microchipping and licensing. The total estimated quarantine fees is approximately $3,200 and will be billed progressively to the successful adopters during the quarantine period.

3. Members of the public who are interested in adopting the puppies are required to go through interview at AVA, during which they will be able to interact with the puppies. If you are interested in adopting any of the puppies, please send an email to

Sheikh Adra Bux, (Manager, Sembawang Animal Quarantine Station) at sheikh_adra_bux_abdul_latif_bux@ava.gov.sg ;

or ii. Dr Prabhpreet Kaur (Ag Assistant Director/Animal Quarantine Section ) at Prabhpreet_kaur@ava.gov.sg

4. Please indicate the breed and sex of puppy you would like to adopt in your email and send it to Mr Bux or Dr Kaur at the above email addresses by 23 May 2011. If you are interested in more than one breed, please rank them in order of preference. We will follow up with you on the interview appointment as soon as possible.
