Lift Songs Of Praise To The Lord
God wants us to walk as wise men and women, and not as fools. (Ephesians 5:15) Now, He will not tell us to walk in wisdom without showing us how. That is why His Word goes on to say, “Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”
So what is the will of God? The next two verses tell us how to identify it: “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord”. (Ephesians 5:18–19)
As you allow yourself to be filled with the Spirit by lifting songs of praise to the Lord, singing or speaking (God knows some of us can’t sing!) psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, and making melody in your heart to the Lord, God promises that you will know what His will is for your situation. You will then have the wisdom to decide wisely what to do next.
I have found this to be true in my own life. Whenever I face a difficult situation, the more I think about it, the more confused I get. The more I try my best to come up with a smart solution, the further the answer seems to get from me. But when I turn away from my problem and turn to God, singing in the Spirit and praising Him, I get a clearer perspective of the problem when I come back to it later. I also find an inner prompting to make certain decisions which in the end, turn out to be better than anything I could have come up with on my own.
So my friend, lift up songs of praise to the Lord, whether times are good or bad. For when you fill your mouth with praises to God, He will lead you and guide you in all the affairs of your life. Even if you are stuck with a problem, He will show you the way to go or make a way out for you. Either way, you will get the wisdom and help that you need!
Thought For The Day
When you fill your mouth with praises to God, He will lead you and guide you in all the affairs of your life.
Because You Have Jesus
If you feel rejected, depressed and frustrated, just look up.
Because up there, God is smiling at you ready to hug you..
Just come to Him boldly. He knows your weakness and strength.
Because the truth is God loves you so much.
He loves you that He gave up His only Son Jesus
just to have you back again. ( John 3:16)
Oh so beautiful right?
What an amazing truth!
So stop judging your worth to things or people that you don't have.
You have Jesus!
And in this life, that's the most awesome thing that could ever happen to you.
When you have Jesus, everything else that's good will follow. (Psalm 23)
Amen!!

The King Is Not Angry With You by Joseph Prince
The King Is Not Angry With You by Joseph Prince
Proverbs 19:12
12 The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion, but his favor is like dew on the grass.
The Bible tells us that the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8) But have you ever wondered why he acts like a roaring lion?
It has something to do with a lion’s roar. In the Bible, the roaring of a lion speaks of the king’s wrath — “The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion”. So when the devil walks about like a roaring lion, he is trying to give you the impression that the King is angry with you. And when you believe that God is angry with you, the devil knows that he has got you.
When you think that God is angry or displeased with you, you will not be confident of His love toward you. Instead, you will expect and fear punishment from Him. And you will want to stay away from Him because you do not wish to incur His wrath any further.
But the truth is that God is not angry with you, even when you fail or blow it, because all your sins have already been judged in the body of His Son at the cross. As the Lamb of God, Jesus became your burnt offering. That is why He said, “I thirst.” (John 19:28)
Those who heard Him say that at Calvary that day thought that His thirst was physical. Actually, His thirst was spiritual because He was being “burnt” by the fire of God’s wrath. He was being judged for our sins. His body exhausted all of God’s wrath until every claim of God’s holiness was satisfied and His wrath appeased!
Now, there is a law called “the law of double jeopardy”, which states that the same crime cannot be tried twice. Today, the fire of God’s wrath will never fall on you as a believer because it has already fallen on His Son at the cross. He judged your sins then, but in the body of His Son.
So right now, you are not under the King’s wrath but His favor. And His favor rains down on you like dew on the grass every morning!

Early Morning with Jesus
Good morning Beloveds!
It's 4am I just walked my dog and have spent time with the Word.
Just read Psalm23 and it's a very amazing feeling!
Nothing beats the presence of the Lord in the morning.
Oh yeah!
Thank You Jesus.
I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me.
Because He is at my right hand,
I shall not be shaken.
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the grave,
nor will you let your Holy One see decay.
You have made known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
(Psalm 16:7-11 NIVUK)

Jesus Is My Protector
(I took this shot in inside Genting's Thempark)
Just got back from a weekend getaway in Genting Highlands Malaysia.
It was fun and very fruitful. No stress. And FULL of rest.
I didn't need to worry about negative or bad things from happening, accidents whatsover because I know Jesus is my protector. Let's face it, anywhere is not safe. Anything could happen. You have the news to prove it with. Last time, before going anywhere else, I was so scared of something which never really happened. I was in bondage of fear! And it prevented me from enjoying the trip.
NOW!
Because I know the TRUTH that Jesus' blood protects I AM SET FREE! Halleluyaaaaah!!!
Enjoy this daily devotional from Joseph Prince my friend.
May it bless and set you free also.
"The Blood Of Jesus Protects "
Exodus 12:13
13 … And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.
For 400 years, the children of Israel were slaves in Egypt. Life for them was one of hard labor, pain, loss and even death. When Moses their deliverer came, what soon followed was one plague after another on the Egyptians. But none of the plagues caused Pharaoh to release the Israelites until they put the blood on their doorposts. What nine plagues could not do, the blood did! The Israelites were finally set free because of the blood.
Are you under any kind of bondage? Are your loved ones held captive by the destroyer who is bent on destroying them? Plead the blood of the Lamb of God over all that is yours and your family’s. When nothing else seems to work, His blood always works!
When I was a teenager doing a stint as a relief teacher in a primary school, one of the girls in my class was absent from school one day. I didn’t think too much about her absence until I returned home that afternoon. As I was praying, I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to pray for her protection and to cover her with the precious blood of Jesus.
It was revealed later on that she had been abducted by a notorious serial killer who had murdered a number of young children. My pupil recounted how she had been tied up and offered to the “deities” the killer had in his flat. Miraculously, he released her when the evil spirits found her to be an unsuitable offering.
Why was this pupil released unharmed? I believe that she was presented to the deities on the same afternoon that I pleaded the blood of Jesus over her. Of course, the evil spirits did not want her because the Most High God would not allow them to have her. God was protecting her. She was set free because of the blood of Jesus!
You see, when you plead the blood of Jesus, the destroyer cannot come near. When he sees the blood, he must respect the blood. He cannot touch what is covered by the blood. The blood of Jesus truly protects and sets you free!
