Sin Cannot Stop God’s Grace! by Joseph Prince

This is how much God loves you...

Sin Cannot Stop God’s Grace! by Joseph Prince

Romans 5:20
20Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,

When a top executive is charged for corruption or a church minister is caught in the very act of adultery, you will probably hear the phrase “fallen from grace” being used of them. We have come to believe that when someone falls into sin, he falls from grace.

But God wants us to know that when someone falls into sin, he does not fall from grace — he actually falls into grace! Thank God His grace is there to put the person back on his feet.

The Bible tells of prostitutes and corrupt tax collectors — sinners — who fell into God’s grace and got back on their feet. If the sin in their lives could stop God’s grace, they would never have been able to receive His grace of healing, help and power to live right.

Now, it is important you understand that God hates sin because it destroys our lives, relationships and bodies. Sin is evil! But sin is not overcome by us talking about it and relying on our willpower to overcome it. It takes God’s grace to destroy sin. In fact, it is when you are under His grace that sin has no dominion over you. (Romans 6:14) It is when you see His grace in providing His Son to put away your sins and make you eternally righteous that sin will not dominate you.

The devil will say to you, “You think that you can still expect God’s blessings after what you did this morning?” That is when you must remind yourself that Christ alone is your perfection and righteousness. All of us have faults. None of us deserve God’s blessings. That is why we plead the grace of God, which is His unearned, unmerited and undeserved favor toward us.

Sin does not and cannot stop God’s grace. If His grace can be cut off by sin, Jesus would never have come to save us because we were all terrible sinners. But praise God, “where sin abounded, grace abounded much more”!

My friend, God’s grace is bigger, deeper, wider and more powerful than all the world’s sins put together. Receive His grace right now to walk in total victory over that weakness or evil habit in your life!

Only Jesus’ Finished Work Works by Joseph Prince

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
John 19:30

Only Jesus’ Finished Work Works by Joseph Prince

Whatever the problems confronting us today, there is only one solution for them—Jesus’ finished work. His perfect work at the cross covers our family life, finances, health, career…every area. It puts God righteously on our side, and enables us to be blessed with His provision and good success in all things. In contrast, our trust in our works will come to nothing, for there is nothing that we can do to earn God’s blessings.

Today, if you’re facing a challenge, simply depend on His finished work and not your works. If you’re experiencing symptoms in your body, meditate on and believe that Jesus was scourged for your healing (Isaiah 53:5). If you’re in the midst of financial lack, meditate on and believe that Jesus was made poor at the cross so that you can be richly supplied in all things (2 Corinthians 8:9).

Beloved, He has done it all for you. Fix your eyes on His finished work. It is the only work that works!

Blessed In More Ways Than One by Joseph Prince

Blessed In More Ways Than One by Joseph Prince

Romans 5:1
1Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

We are not trying to get peace with God. We already have peace with God, having been justified by faith through our Lord Jesus Christ. This peace with God brings us the peace of God, which guards our hearts and minds. (Philippians 4:7) Then, the peace of God inside us will also translate into the peace of God outside us — in all our outward circumstances.

Firstly, we will find that what would normally cause us much care and anxiety will no longer be the case. Secondly, not only will everything turn out well, but we will also be blessed in more ways than one. This is what happens when Jesus, the Prince of Peace, is our peace.

A church member, though stricken with cancer, enjoyed the peace of God, knowing that He was her healer. She later received confirmation from two different doctors that she had been completely healed of cancer. In addition to receiving her blessing of complete healing, she also received from her insurance company a critical illness claim of S$50,000!

Another church member, upon hearing news of her retrenchment, committed the matter to God, believing that He would work all things out for her, especially her loss of a regular income. Shortly after, she received her retrenchment package — a substantial five–figure sum. And within days of her retrenchment, she received calls from her contacts in the industry, offering her jobs, two of which were jobs in well–known multinational corporations (MNCs).

At that time, she had not yet started looking for a job, so the calls were unexpected but welcomed. She finally opted to work for one of the MNCs — a dream come true for her — at a salary that was 30 per cent more than her previous one!

When she simply prayed, “Abba Father, I trust You to look after me,” and rested in His love and peace, she was abundantly blessed.

Beloved, because Jesus is your peace, you are blessed in more ways than one... Your soul will prosper. Your health will prosper. Your finances will prosper. Your loved ones will be taken care of. Your relationships will flourish. You will enjoy the favor of God. All because you have the Prince of Peace!

Receive A Boost Of Life From The Spirit!

Meditate On

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Romans 8:11

Receive A Boost Of Life From The Spirit!

If you have been feeling tired weak in your body, what you want is for the Holy Spirit in you to give life to your mortal body the same way He raised Christ from the dead!

Look at today’s verse. The first thing I want you to see in this verse is how God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus are mentioned not once but twice here. My friend, this tells you that all three persons of the Godhead are doubly interested in giving life to your mortal body!

But how do we receive a boost of resurrection life from the Holy Spirit? How do we receive the life of God that will drive out that stubborn flu, pounding headache or chronic fatigue? The answer lies in the preceding verse: “And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness” (Romans 8:10). Notice how it says that the Spirit is life because of righteousness. In other words, life has something to do with righteousness.

My friend, the more conscious you are of your righteousness in Christ, the more life flows into your mortal body. So renew your mind with biblical truths about your righteousness in Christ. Keep listening to sermons that remind you that your righteousness is a gift and that you are righteous apart from your works. Meditate on scriptures about your righteousness in Christ. The more righteousness-conscious you are, the more life from the Spirit touches and quickens your body!

Keep Dreaming....

What are your dreams right now?

Do you dream to have a new car?

Own house?

Be financially free?

Be healthy?

Well, I say, that's cool if you're dreaming of something.

Big or small...it doesn't matter. As long as you put your faith to action

with hope in Him.

Go ahead.

Dream some more.

That's how God wants you to live.

Be full of hope and good expectations .

Give it all to Him...and He will direct you to the right path.

He will never let you down.

and that's the truth!

Unconditional

Feel so disappointed tonight because of what my "used-to-be-friends" are doing in my life.
It's sad to know, everything is falling apart in our relationship or shall I still say " friendship"

Deep in my heart, I forgive them for what they've been doing to us. And whatever plans they have for us.

I know Jesus is protecting me and those that are close to my heart.

It's just, in life, you need to accept that people come and go.

People will hurt you or be rude to you.

That's normal and everyone experiences that.

So what you need to do is forgive, move on and live life to the fullest all for Jesus' glory!

Let me leave you with this wonderful devotional from

Sarah Young's "Jesus Calling For Kids"

Good night. Let Jesus hug you tight.

Unconditionally

Jesus understands every weakness of ours, because he was tempted in every way that we are. But he did not sin!
—Hebrews 4:15 (CEV)

Remember that the devil is the father of lies. He likes to sneak into your thoughts and whisper lies to you. One of his favorites is to tell you that I don’t really love you unconditionally. Satan wants you to believe that you have to be good enough to be loved. If you make one little mistake—if you even think about a sin—then surely I won’t love you anymore.

That is a lie. I love you, no matter what. This world is full of temptations. It’s hard to always resist, and it’s impossible for you to be perfect. I understand that. I walked on this earth, too, and I was exactly your age once.

But be encouraged: I lived a perfect life in this world and then died to wash away your sins. And I rose from the grave to be your Savior. All because I love you—unconditionally. Come close to Me, and I’ll wrap you up in My perfect Love.

The Race Is Not To The Swift by Joseph Prince

For they [God’s people] did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You favored them.
Psalm 44:3

The Race Is Not To The Swift
By Joseph Prince

The world tells you that those with the qualifications, talents and experience get the jobs, promotions and high salaries.

My friend, though you live in this world, as God’s beloved child, you need not be limited by it. You have God’s favor—His unmerited, unearned, undeserved grace! Ecclesiastes 9:11tells us, “The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong…” This means that even if you are not the smartest, strongest, most knowledgeable or best looking in the natural, God can still give you good success when you depend on His grace. It is His right hand, His arm and His favor that provide for you, fight for you, defend you and give you increase.

So instead of mulling over your “disqualifications”, be conscious of God’s favor on you. Smile and say, “God’s favor is all over me because of Jesus. I expect good things to happen to me today!” Beloved, be conscious of His favor. Believe it. Confess it. And you will experience it!
