How To Disappoint the Devil

That's the nature of the devil.

He loves seeing you down.

Torn apart.

Bitter.

Depressed and all the negativities
in the world that you can think of.

The trick.

If you feel so heavy and just smell some negativities around you.

Shake it off by saying,

"Praise Jesus! Praise Jesus!"

Say it again and again again
and again until you feel light ,
at peace and better.

If you feel tired, just say
"thank You Jesus
You are my strength."

If you feel weary, say
"thank You Jesus, You are my rest."

Then see the devil flee!

How Not To Be Disappointed with Humans

What I have learnt about humans is that,
whether they are your spouse, boyfriends, girlfriends, bestfriends, family or relatives,
their attitude towards you will change.
It may depend on circumstances.
On how you treat them or
how they think life treats them.

I find human relationships tough.
What about you?

That's why recently, I am more focus on my hobby and my dog. (Haha!)

I know, Jesus wants us to love thy neighbour or peoples but sad to say, at this moment. After being an unworthy Christian that I am,
I am still NOT ready on that task yet.

I keep praying God will touch my heart or lead me.

Of course, I am not saying that I'm gonna be totally like this forever.

I know He has plans for me and His plans for me is good! ( Jeremiah 29:11)

I am learning from here.
Everyday there is a wisdom in life that needs to be discovered. You just need to have an open mind and heart.

Human relationships... is for me, a tough journey to take. Lolx!

But you see, you and I are so blessed.

Know why?

Because man may change

but our Lord Jesus Christ doesn't!

In Hebrews 13:8

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."

So my Christian tip for today is:

Stop expecting from humans.
From your colleagues, friends, bosses or anyone.
They will surely fail you.
And of course, you will also fail them.

Start, expecting from Jesus instead. He loves it and He knows how to deal with it.
Because you are leaning on to a Lord who is the same yesterday, today and forever!

He doesn't change His mind, heart and love towards you. Because if He does, He would have changed His mind in dying at the cross for you.

But no.

He is the same!

Yesterday and Forever!

So keep trusting and expecting good from Jesus.

Your hope in Him doesn't disappoint.

Blessed Tuesday everyone!

Praise God in All Circumstance

I can say that by reading Jesus' -filled messages, devotional everyday ,
I feel my faith and confidence in God's promises has grown stronger and deeper each day.
You see , you can choose to fill your mind and heart with negativities in this world
Or
You can choose to just fill it with Jesus' truth. Knowing that God loves you so and that He will never leave you nor forsake you is more than enough for me to survive the day.
I just learnt that each struggles come and go,
Don't let it shake you.
Continue to thank and praise Jesus instead.

Sharing a beautiful and practical devotional that I read early this morning.

It has blessed me.

I'm definitely sure, it shall bless you too.

When things are going smoothly in your life - it’s easy to praise Jesus! But when something earth-shattering shakes your world - the first human response is to cry, get discouraged and blame God! But instead of falling apart and bursting into tears - the best thing to do is to praise God for all His goodness! When you step back and count your blessings, you see things from a different perspective, and realize how much you have to be thankful for - in spite of all your troubles. The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “Be thankful in all circumstances.” It is during the tough times that you lean on Jesus the most! No matter what you’re going through, if you look around, you’ll see that you have much to be thankful for and life really isn’t “that” bad after all! You’ll also discover that someone else “always” has it worse than you do.” So the next time you’re tempted to invite friends to your pity-party, stop: and count your blessings! You Have a Powerful God

I am so blessed to be receiving this
devotional everyday.
When you fill yoyr thoughts with this kind of devotionals or inspirations,
your faith in God will grow and
you will have the courage to face day with excitement.
Knowing that God is with you all the way, everyday there's is NO NEED TO FEAR at all!
Just stay with Him because you have an awesome , abundant God
who loves you and will never leave you.
Halleluyaaah!!

Christians often put limits on what God can do.
Instead of giving God full control, and trusting Him to provide for their every need, they start doubting God’s power, forgetting that “with God, all things are possible. “

It’s important to remember that it’s never about what you can do - but rather what God can do through you!

For instance, if you feel God calling you to teach in a children’s department at church- don’t start thinking of a million reasons why you should say “No,” such as: “I can’t do that, I don’t even like kids, I hate being up front,” or “I’m too scared.”

Instead your response should be, “I’ll pray about it.” Then if you feel impressed by the Holy Spirit to take the position - go forward with confidence knowing that Jesus will be with you every step of the way - giving you everything you need to accomplish His task - you have nothing to fear!

This is true in every situation - God will never call you to do a task for Him and then leave you in the lurch!

He is trustworthy and loves you more than you could possibly know!

Search your heart and think about what is getting in the way of a full commitment to Jesus!

Then pray and ask God to create within you a clean heart and fill you to overflowing with His Holy Spirit. Stop putting limits on what God can do - and make that giant step of faith - in whatever direction God leads.

Stay With Me - Jesus

Stay with Me

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
—Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)

Spend some more time with Me. I know today is a busy day and you have much to do, but stay with Me for a few more minutes. I want to enjoy your company. I also want to prepare you for this day.

Great athletes take time to think carefully about what is ahead— going through it in their minds before they move their bodies. In the same way, sitting quietly in My Presence prepares you for the day ahead—for the good things I planned for you.

Only I know what will happen today. If you don’t let Me prepare you, you may get tired and feel like giving up. Rest a moment with Me—and then we’ll have a great day together.

Love,
Jesus

Come As You Are

I remember more than 8 years ago

when I was so down and out , a

Christian friend invited me to join

their group.

Desperate as I was, I accepted his

invitation.

There were praising, Amens and Halleluyahs.

Some are even speaking in tongues.

It felt good although I found it a bit weird that time.

I told myself,"well, this is something new. I might love this."

So, the service lasted for more than 2 hours.

I witnessed members giving out testimonies almost most of them were crying, begging for God through prayers.

I just sit in there and observed.

Two, three days passed.

That Christian friend asked me again to join them. He told me since, you have accepted Jesus in your life now, you must attend our Bible study. And some activities.

I wasn't into that time. So I politely just said "No, sorry I can't".

Then I talked to Jesus,
"Jesus, right now , I am not ready for any responsibility for you yet as you know I am quite busy with alot of stuff like making a living. Feed my family, etc. Sorry, maybe next time."

So I left the congregation feeling so free!

Have you been in this situation in your life?

You see, true Christianity is not accepting Jesus and follow all the rules.

True Christianity is to come to Jesus as you are and let Him change you inside and out.

I was so glad I got out from that congration and now I am happy of where God has led me...to His truth.

That Christianity is not relying on your effort to be perfect. To do this and do that. Honestly, I hate rules!

Christianity is relying on Jesus' perfect sacrifice because as Jesus is, and so are you in this world!

If you are struggling now as a Christian. I know, life itself can bring you down already. How much more of some of these teachings or preachings outhere that's making your life heavier and even stressful?

You don't come to Jesus to be stressed. You come to Jesus to rest.

Jesus said,
" come to me and I will give you rest. "

Embrace that truth.
Jesus is our rest.

So don't ever let someone stress you out of some rules.

In Jesus' there are NO RULES!

Your only task is to receive and thank Him for His love for you.

Pure blessing. Pure grace.

Yes!

Christianity is a gift.

Don't let anything stress you out.

Just come to Jesus as you are ,

stand still and experience His

unmerited favour in your life.

Blessed in more ways than one

I am thankful and so blessed God has lead me back to His true word.

Thank you Pastor Joseph Prince for teaching and leading me back to Jesus.

The truth that I know now has really set me free.

I am no longer in bondage.

Stressed of the way I am. Of who and what I am now. Because true Christianity is not about me, about my failures or mistakes.

It's about Jesus, who died for me at the Calvary to cleanse me everyday and forever!

Halleluyaaaah !

Be blessed everyone!

Romans 5:1
1Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

We are not trying to get peace with God. We already have peace with God, having been justified by faith through our Lord Jesus Christ. This peace with God brings us the peace of God, which guards our hearts and minds. (Philippians 4:7) Then, the peace of God inside us will also translate into the peace of God outside us — in all our outward circumstances.

Firstly, we will find that what would normally cause us much care and anxiety will no longer be the case. Secondly, not only will everything turn out well, but we will also be blessed in more ways than one. This is what happens when Jesus, the Prince of Peace, is our peace.

A church member, though stricken with cancer, enjoyed the peace of God, knowing that He was her healer. She later received confirmation from two different doctors that she had been completely healed of cancer. In addition to receiving her blessing of complete healing, she also received from her insurance company a critical illness claim of S$50,000!

Another church member, upon hearing news of her retrenchment, committed the matter to God, believing that He would work all things out for her, especially her loss of a regular income. Shortly after, she received her retrenchment package — a substantial five-figure sum. And within days of her retrenchment, she received calls from her contacts in the industry, offering her jobs, two of which were jobs in well-known multinational corporations (MNCs).

At that time, she had not yet started looking for a job, so the calls were unexpected but welcomed. She finally opted to work for one of the MNCs — a dream come true for her — at a salary that was 30 per cent more than her previous one! When she simply prayed, “Abba Father, I trust You to look after me,” and rested in His love and peace, she was abundantly blessed.

Beloved, because Jesus is your peace, you are blessed in more ways than one. Your soul will prosper. Your health will prosper. Your finances will prosper. Your loved ones will be taken care of. Your relationships will flourish. You will enjoy the favor of God. All because you have the Prince of Peace!
