Sometimes I Whisper. - Jesus

Sometimes I Whisper

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
—Psalm 46:1

I am always with you. Even now, I am here with you. That soft whisper in your mind? That’s from Me. That gentle tap on your heart? That’s from Me too. I have all the Power in heaven and on earth. With My Might, I can control the very wind and the waves, but with you I am quiet and tender. And the more you are hurting, the more tender I am.

When others leave you feeling worthless and alone, hope in Me. My hope is not just a wish for things to be better; it is My promise to you that I will always help you. I will carry your troubles for you and lighten your heart. I am your ever-present Help, so you are never alone.

Thankful Thoughts

I have a lot of good vibes to share with you all this 2016.

So sit back and relax.😁

I received this daily devotional from a friend.

It's a blessing to receive something like this from time to time.

It has blessed me so I am sharing it with you.

Hope you will do the same too. ♥️♥️♥️

Will Overflow Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. (NLT) ( Colossians 2:7 )

Expectations, deserve. Beware of entitled thoughts. If you fall into the trap of thinking you deserve something, then how can you be grateful for what you have? Besides, aren't your much happier when you are blessed with something you weren't expecting? Falling into the pit of deserving thoughts does not lead to a path of happiness.  Let your "deserving" thoughts be replaced with rooted, "thankful" thoughts.

Good Morning dinx! Tc today God Bless you 😘❤️💋

What About Psalm23

This 2016, I wish you all to stay and stick with Jesus.

He is our ultimate destiny.

Just so you know,

We all want to prosper.
Be wealthy so we can do the things that we want without worrying about the bills and just be happy, right?

We all want to buy this and that
to fulfill our needs and wants.

I know cuz I feel the same way too.

But you see, I realised, our Abba Father just don't want us to be rich.

Because we are more than that!

We are more than our hard-earned dollars yo!

You gotta believe that our destiny here on earth is not just to become millionaires and that's it.

God, obviously wants us to live with a purpose.

In my 44 years of staying here on earth,
I have seen people getting rich and famous.
But some just waste their lives on drugs and sadly, passed on to death.
I see so many people making it a success but their relationship breaks and ends up depressed.

(I told Jesus, I don't want that to happen to me Lord)

Some just don't know what to do with their money.

Although I know and heard some people are doing something good like being active in charities.
Yes, I salute and respect them and may they continue to do so..

Let's read Psalm 23 together.

There you go!

Our awesome God really knows what to do with us. He knows exactly what we need.

He wants us to lay down in green pastures. ( no stress)

Green pastures, it means life of abundance in everything.

Do you know anyone who works hard for money and then he ends up sick and unproductive all the way? Cuz stressed has caught him. They have big salaries and yet they are slave to money that they need to work 24/7, even at home (on call) , no more family time and end up with no life at all.

Some even get sick and ends up spending their entire savings on their medications.

I know some.
(And I told Jesus, I don't want that to happen to me. )

You see,
There is good success and
bad success.

Good success is when you are doing well in your career and your financial life is stable while enjoying your relationship, family and loved ones presence. No stress at all.

Bad success is when you have everything , your career is up, tons of money on your bank accounts and yet you are still unhappy and so lost that you end up dependent with sleeping pills or drugs.

Tsk.

Poor thing right?

But aren't you glad our Abba, Father only wants the best for us?
(check Jeremiah 29:11)

Now that you know about good and bad success , which one do you prefer?

You can choose by the way.

Me?

I want good success.

And the only way that I can achieve that is to just stick with Jesus and know and believe that
His favour is pouring out on me everyday because He loves me so.

I am still working right now at 44.
He knows what my plans are.
He knows what's in my heart and mind. So I leave it all to Him.
Of course, I am still trying to build my own little business slowly.
And I know He has been guiding me to the right path.

I believe God owns time and He can do something in my life that will turn everything around on my favour.

He will do the same thing to you too.

Don't call it positive thinking please.

I am relying and trusting only in God's promises thru Psalm23.
It's in the Bible dude!

I am a Christian

Let's talk about being a "Christian".

You know the world has inculcated on their minds that if you are a Christian, you are not bound to make mistakes or sin.
You should walk straight, be always a good person just like Jesus.
In short , you should be perfect.
(Which is so wrong)

I had my first attempt as a Christian back in the 2010's.

But I left the church.

You know why?

Because they gave me alot of stuff to do!

You must do this , do that. Forget your sexual preference. Go to church every Sunday. Read the Bible daily...which I didn't like!

Forward to this day.

I am back to being Christian.

And it is so different compared to the first truth that I know which stressed me out.

It is true when Jesus said in the Bible,

Jesus is our rest.

Rest from all our worries , anxities, fears and uncertainties.

Now, I go to church not because
I NEED TO.

I go attend church because
I WANT TO and it makes me excited everytime!

Can you tell the difference dear friends?

Now, I read the Bible not because some pastors told me to.

I read the Bible because I want to get to know more of my Jesus!

Wooow!

This change in me is amazing!

And it's effortless.

If you , my friend have experienced this in your Christian journey,
I want to pray with you.

That you too shall be set free !

The truth that as a Christian,
we need Jesus everyday because
He is our savior from everything will set you free.

We should all stop looking at our shortcomings, ourselves and start to look up to Him instead with praise and full of thanks for what He did at the cross.

As a Christian, our main task is to praise Him and not trying to fix our flaws. If we look up to Him. He will fix our flaws and then change us from the inside -out. That's what Jesus meant when He said, you come to Him , He is your rest.
And He doesn't lie.

You see, If we keep looking at our mistakes or failures as a Christians, it would take us forever. And it will only separate us more from God.

In this world, we can never be perfect because only Jesus is perfect.

When Jesus was at the cross,
He didn't say,
" hey you, have you read your bible today. Are you good today? If not I will come down from here and won't die for you. "

No!

At the cross, Jesus never thought on all of these.
What was on His mind and heart was that ," IT IS FINISHED!"

Jesus took all your failures, shortcomings, sickness, confusions at the cross and cloth you with His Righteousness so today, you and I deserves all the blessings.

Halleluyaaah!

Jesus is your wisdom so ask Him to lead you to His truth.

Let us pray.

Dear Jesus,
If the person reading this is in total confusion and lost as a Christian,
Please lead him to Your truth.
Your truth sets him/her free!
Thank You Jesus for being our awesome savior.
We shall praise you forever.
Amen!

Psalm 91 in Darker Days

Lately, I am feeling a little bit "blank."

During Christmas, there was a family of four who got a fatal accident, crashed their land rover in Johor Bahru and hit on another car.

Only a 4 year old boy survived with some bruises.
The rest got burned to death. 😭

That little boy. I was thinking, angels must have protected him.

So I did a little research on the family. At the back of my mind , I was already wonderin' whether they are Christians or not.

To my surprise. Yes they are indeed!

And to make me even more surpised... They come from my church.

Eventhough I don't know them personally, I am heartbroken. It is always so sad to see or hear our brothers or sisters departing this way.

But to know that they are in safer hands with Jesus, comforts me.

The guy is active in our church. When I saw his facebook wall, some of his friends are even calling him "coach".

Okay, I don't want to dig more of their personal life in here anymore.

You see, if you backread some of my posts, I am always encouraging you all to pray or at least say "Psalm91" everyday if you have the time. Or really make time for it.

We are on the last days and anything could struck us anywhere.

The devil is panicking already so he wants to take whoever he wants to. Especially those whom he thinks are gonna help and are bold to spread testimonies about the Gospel.

But lo and behold!
Our Jesus is the victor!

That's why the devil is shaking right now.

Halleluyaaaah!!!

Okay. Back to Psalm 91.

When I learnt that the couple are from my church.

I started to ask God this question.

"Lord, whatever happened to my bros and sis, it's only You who knows. But I need an answer why this happened And where is your promises of divine Protection on them?

Pause.

This question has been on my mind for days. And I really badly need an answer from Him.

This morning,
I opened my Bible to
1 Corinthians.
And I think, this is His answer.

In this mad-fallen world, we shall walk in dark valleys but shall overcome them.

Everything here is temporary.

The real world is upthere, in heaven with our awesome God and Jesus.

They may have lost their temporary lives in here,
but they gained eternal life upthere.

My bro John Mah, reminded me to always look up and not to see what's on my right or left.
Just like when Peter lost his focus and looked at what's going around him and started to drown when he took his eyes off Jesus.

Yes.

Questions like this can go on and keep bugging us.
It would help is you always talk it out to Jesus directly.

The spirit shall give you an answer.

His peace is the answer.

My condolences to the family.
Rest assured that your son, daughter and grandson are in good hands now with Jesus.

🙏🙏🙏🙏

There you go!

I still and will always encourage you all, to claim and say #Psalm91.

Only God knows what His plans for us now.

Let's just keep praising Him for it.

The Reason for the Season is Jesus...

Being born from a poor family,

as a kid, I always thought Christmas is about just having gifts

and wishing all your dreams would come true.

Then when I was in my highschool days, I thought

Christmas is just about being with friends you like,

having an awesome family for Noche Buena, exchange gifts, gift-giving and all.

When I started to work and earn my own money,

I thought Christmas was about enjoying the holidays, buying all the things you wished for or thanking God for leaves, offs, vacations, bonuses etc.

Yes.

I could say, I was able to get most of the things that I dreamed of.

I was even able to buy myself my own gifts,

It's cool when you start to earn your own $$$...(really)

But you see, in between those moments,

I wasn't really satisfied deep within.

I thought to myself,

" Is this really Christmas is all about? If it is, then it's so shallow and meaningless."

Then I started to ask questions to God and was able to dig deeper about life.

And I am so blessed that He led me to know that Christmas....is about love.

It's about Jesus who came down to earth as a human being so He could

save us all from hell.

But of course, not everybody is pleased and would believe in this truth.

So people around the world, ( excluding Believers of course) celebrate Christmas

with gift-givings, parties here and there, get drunk and get a migraine after.

Hahah! I am not against all these cuz you see , I am basically a fun person.

My point is,

Christmas.

It is so wonderful that it happens around the world and every year!

Just makes me smile thinking the world is celebrating on my wonderful savior's birth.

But sadly, athough everyone is celebrating it, they never thought of who is the celebrant.

It's like having your own birthday party, but the guests don't know you.

Funny right?

Anyways,

This Christmas, I can truly say, I am grateful for what Jesus has done at the cross.

And our awesome God...wooow!

He really planned all these so you and I could be reunited with Him through Jesus.

How cool is that?

God wants you dude!

Booooy! This is the best gift ever!

You see, material gifts are good for pleasures and happiness.

Celebrations are awesome.

But they are only temporay.

They only give temporary happiness.

But thias truth that I found out, makes me want to jump for joy.

Yes,

Christmas....it is all about my Jesus....

Tomorrow, me and my friends are just going to have a simple dinner to celebrate

with Jesus.

Maybe we would be able to watch some fireworks here in Singapore, that would be awesome.

Yes, I want to celebrate this day with Jesus...

And I am sure, He will be there to celebrate with us too.

He will be very busy around the world.

So that's all my thoughts for today dear friends.

May you have the most special wonderful, Christmas ever!

Forget all your worries for awhile. You got Jesus!
