My First Worship Guitar Practice: How Deep is our Father's Love

I used to play guitar back when I was in my primary days.

But somehow, I lost my interest in it. Worldly songs didn't give  me enough motivation, I guess.

Now, I am back again playing the guitar.

This time,  I  want to do it to worship Jesus.

This is my first completed worship song.

"How Deep is Our Father's Love"

Miraculously, I managed to practice it like 2-3 times before I recorded this.

Awesome!

More worship songs to come yeah!

#JesusCalling : Heavenly Light

Heavenly Light

Our citizenship is in heaven.

—Philippians 3:20

There are a lot of things in this world that need fixing. There are a lot of things in your world that need fixing: broken promises, broken relationships, and much more. But you don’t have to be the fix-it person. In fact, you can’t be. You’re only human.

Still, that doesn’t stop you from trying. When you see something wrong, you tend to jump right into problem solving. But that is not your main responsibility in life. Your main responsibility is your relationship with Me. If a problem enters your day, talk with Me about it. Ask for My thoughts on it. Rather than just jumping in and trying to fix everything, ask Me to show you what is truly important.

Remember, this world is only temporary, and you are just passing through it. Your true home is in heaven—and even your biggest problems fade in the heavenly Light of eternity.

You're Gonna Be Ok (Lyric Video) // After All These Years // Brian and Jenn Johnson

I know it's all you've got to just be strong
And it's a fight just to keep it together
I know you think that you are too far gone
But hope is never lost
Hope is never lost
Hold on, don't let go
Hold on, don't let go
Just take one step closer
Put one foot in front of the other
You'll get through this
Just follow the light in the darkness
You're gonna be ok

I know your heart is heavy from those nights
But just remember that you are a fighter
You never know just what tomorrow holds
And you're stronger than you know
You're stronger than you know
Hold on, don't let go
Hold on, don't let go
Just take one step closer
Put one foot in front of the other
You'll get through this
Just follow the light in the darkness
You're gonna be ok
Just take one step closer
Put one foot in front of the other
You'll get through this
Just follow the light in the darkness
You're gonna be ok

And when the night is closing in
Don't give up and don't give in
This won't last, it's not the end
It's not the end
You're gonna be ok
when the night is closing in
Don't give up and don't give in
This won't last, it's not the end
It's not the end
You're gonna be ok

#JesusCalling 22 Nov : Windows of Heaven

Windows of Heaven

I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

—Habakkuk 3:18

When you come to Me with a thankful heart, it opens up windows of heaven. Spiritual blessings fall freely through those windows and down into your life. A thankful heart opens you up to these blessings, and then you have even more reasons to be grateful.

Being thankful brings you many blessings, but it is not a magic formula. Thankful words are really just the language of Love, and they help you grow closer to Me. When you thank Me, it makes a love-connection between your heart and Mine. Just as a telephone connection lets you talk to another person, a loving, thankful heart helps you talk to Me—and Me to you.

Being thankful doesn’t mean you close your eyes to the many problems in this world. It means you find Joy in Me—your Savior— in the midst of a messed-up world. I am your hiding place and your strength. And I’m always ready to help you!

My Voice [ JesusCalling 18Nov2017]

My Voice

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

—Isaiah 30:21

Listen to My Voice and follow Me. It sounds simple, but it is not always easy. There are lots of different voices, and they are all saying, “Follow me! This is the way for you to go!”

If you listen to the world, it will lead you down a path filled with glitter, glamour, and fun—at first. But all too soon the glitter, glamour, and fun will run out, and you will be all alone.

Even some Christian voices can confuse you, saying, “Sing this song, not that one!” “Pray this way, not that way!” Like the Pharisees of the Bible, they make up rules that I never wanted. But I died to set you free from man-made rules.

How do you know which voice is Mine? Spend time with Me— quiet time in prayer and praise. Just as good friends know each other’s voices, you will come to know Mine. And I will tell you the right way to go.

The Power of Holy Communion

I need to do this back again.

It’s been months since I skipped this.

Take Communion Often

The Holy Communion is a time for us to remember our Lord Jesus and what He has accomplished for us in His sacrifice (1 Corinthians 11:24–25). He bore those stripes so that we can be healed. On the cross, He took not just our sins, but also our sicknesses and pains (Isaiah 53:4–5, YLT). His blood was shed so that we could be forgiven of every sin (Matthew 26:28).

God wants us to remember what Jesus did “often.” His Word says, “For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.” Believers in the early church also had the habit of partaking of the Communion together, “breaking bread from house to house” (Acts 2:46).

So take the Communion often. If you have a sickness that is serious or long-term, I encourage you to take the Communion daily. It gives you a chance to proclaim the Lord’s death and remember His finished work every day. In fact, I know of people who are so radical that they take the Communion three times a day. And you know what? They get radical results!

Beloved, don’t give up now. Keep partaking in faith. You are getting stronger and healthier each time you partake!
