Our Destiny...

This has been going on in my mind for quite awhile and didn't really had the chance to blog it.
I was waiting for a verse.
This morning God heard me. And here it goes.

I saw some photos of what happened to one of the cities in my country, The Philippines - The Maguindanao Massacre and felt blank and empty looking at the gruesome pictures. Yeah. It was the deadliest massacre ever!

When I wasn't yet a Christian and never found out
the TRUTH about life probably I would react negatively towards the killers and ask God why this has happened. Not adding to the fact that I've already read alot of this kind of reaction on twitter and facebook.

As I look and meditate through it all.
I've learnt that Death happens and strikes everywhere.

Yesterday, a friend told me she witnessed a 5yr old and a granny got hit by a car.

Last week, , an athlete-a rowing coach got drowned and died.

You see. Death indeed strikes everywhere, anywhere and to anyone!

There's death on the streets when one gets hit by a car, truck, get mobbed or simply hit by a lightning while walking.

There's death when there's a tsunami, earthquakes, or any other natural calamities.

There's death when you travel with a plane, ship, cars.

There's death when sleeping. I know some people who are healthy that unknowingly didn't even make it on the next day. Tsk!

And of course, there's death in sickness.

If you are observant enough.

Death is everywhere.

You cannot stop it.

These thoughts have prompted me to ask.

When one dies , what's next?

People of the world can investigate, mourn, ask a lot of whys and hope they can bring back the life.

Me ?

The only question that fills my mind
whenever I hear death is ,

"Is he/ she saved?"

I felt a little uncomfy about that thought.
But God backed it all out with this verse.

The Mouse Trap

THIS IS A GREAT READ

A mouse looked through the crack in the wall
to see the farmer and his wife open a package.
"What food might this contain?" The mouse wondered.
He was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap.

Photobucket

Retreating to the farmyard,
the mouse proclaimed this warning :
"There is a mousetrap in the house!
There is a mousetrap in the house!"

Photobucket

The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, "Mr. Mouse,
I can tell this is a grave concern to you,
but it is of no consequence to me.
I cannot be bothered by it."
The mouse turned to the pig and told him,
"There is a mousetrap in the house!
There is a mousetrap in the house!"

Photobucket

The pig sympathized, but said,
"I am so very sorry, Mr.. Mouse,
but there is nothing I can do about it
but pray.
Be assured you are in my prayers."

The mouse turned to the cow and said,
"There is a mousetrap in the house!
There is a mousetrap in the house!"

Photobucket

The cow said, "Wow, Mr. Mouse. I'm sorry for you, but it's no skin off my nose."

So, the mouse returned to the house,
head down and dejected,
to face the farmer's mousetrap
. . .. Alone. . ..

That very night
a sound was heard throughout the house
-- the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey.

The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the darkness, she did not see it.
It was a venomous snake
whose tail was caught in the trap.

The snake bit the farmer's wife.
The farmer rushed her to the hospital.

Photobucket

When she returned home she still had a fever.
Everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup.
So the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard
for the soup's main ingredient:

Photobucket

But his wife's sickness continued.
Friends and neighbors came to sit with her
around the clock.
To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig.

Photobucket

But, alas,
the farmer's wife did not get well...
She died.

Photobucket

So many people came for her funeral
that the farmer had the cow slaughtered
to provide enough meat for all of them
for the funeral luncheon.

And the mouse looked upon it all
from his crack in the wall with great sadness.

The next time you hear someone is facing a problem and you think it doesn't concern you,
remember ---

Photobucket

When one of us is threatened, we are all at risk.
We are all involved in this journey called life.
We must keep an eye out for one another
and make an extra effort
to encourage one

another.

Photobucket

YOU MAY WANT TO SEND THIS
TO EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER
HELPED YOU OUT...
Photobucket

AND LET THEM KNOW
HOW IMPORTANT THEY ARE.

- REMEMBER -

EACH OF US IS A VITAL THREAD
IN ANOTHER PERSON'S TAPESTRY.

OUR LIVES ARE WOVEN TOGETHER
FOR A REASON.

POLITICALLY CORRECT!!

I so love Heavenly jokes such as this. Enjoy!

THIS IS A NONPARTISAN JOKE THAT CAN BE ENJOYED BY BOTH PARTIES!
NOT ONLY THAT-- it is POLITICALLY CORRECT!!

While walking down the street one day a US senator is tragically hit by a truck
and dies.

His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.

'Welcome to heaven,' says St. Peter. 'Before you settle in, it
seems
there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see,
so we're not sure what to do with you.'

'No problem, just let me in,' says the man.

'Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we'll do
is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where
to spend eternity.'

'Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven,' says the
senator.

'I'm sorry, but we have our rules.'

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down,
down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself
in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and
standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked
with him.

Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him,
shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while
getting rich at the expense of the people.

They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and
champagne.

Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly guy who has a good
time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he
realizes it, it is time to go.

Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises...

The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on heaven where St. Peter
is waiting for him.

'Now it's time to visit heaven.'

So, 24 hours pass with the senator joining a group of contented souls moving
from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and,
before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St.Peter returns...

'Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now
choose your eternity.'

The senator reflects for a minute, then he answers: 'Well, I would never
have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be
better off in hell.'

So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell.

Now the doors of the elevator open and he's in the middle of a barren land
covered with waste and garbage.

He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it
in black bags as more trash falls from above.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder. 'I
don't understand,' stammers the senator. 'Yesterday I was here and
there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank
champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland
full of garbage and my friends look miserable.

What happened?'

The devil looks at him, smiles and says, 'Yesterday we were campaigning. . .

Today you voted.

works in You both to desire and work"

The only way to dispel the storms is to be grateful for what you have
today and what will happen tomorrow.

Subj: A Little Christian Humor

This is one of the best clean jokes I've seen in awhile!

Jesus and Satan were having an on-going argument about who
was better on the computer. They had been going at it for days, and frankly God
was tired of hearing all the bickering.

Finally fed up, God said, 'THAT'S IT! I have had enough. I
am going to set up a test that will run for two hours, and from those results, I
will judge who does the better job.'

So Satan and Jesus sat down at the keyboards and typed away.

They moused.
They faxed.
They e-mailed.
They e-mailed with attachments.
They downloaded.
They did spreadsheets!
They wrote reports.
They created labels and cards.
They created charts and graphs.
They did some genealogy reports .

They did every job known to man.

Jesus worked with heavenly efficiency and Satan was faster
than hell.

Then, ten minutes before their time was up, lightning
suddenly flashed across the sky, thunder rolled, rain poured, and, of course,
the power went off.

Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed every curse
word known in the underworld.

Jesus just sighed.

Finally the electricity came back on, and each of them
restarted their computers. Satan started searching frantically, screaming:

'It's gone! It's all GONE! 'I lost everything when the power
went out!'

Meanwhile, Jesus quietly started printing out all of his
files from the past two hours of work.

Satan observed this and became irate.

'Wait!' he screamed. 'That's not fair! He cheated! How come
he has all his work and I don't have any?'

God just shrugged and said,

JESUS SAVES....
Keep the Faith!

How Much More Will God Take Care Of You

We humans are always good at worrying over something.
Think it's our passion. lolx!

When we worry about small things, in our hearts and minds it become
so big that unconsciously, it's already teaching us not to enjoy life anymore.

We can spend all day...all night worrying until we get sick to the core.

I used to worry alot. Maybe I got it from my mom. Even now, she worries
about not having money, money , money.

This part of worrying about money sickens me.

The thought for years even affects the way I tithe...

Yeah.. for now..all I can give to the Lord is just an offering. Pathetic huh?

But

somewhere at the back of my mind , there's a thought pinching inside of me that

says I should really tithe because it's for my own good.

I know. I know!

I should let go.

And I do need lotsa of revelations on this.

Do I need to struggle?

I told Abba, "Abba, I'm your child...I am blessed without that tithe, right?"

I am waiting for His answer ...for the meantime let me pray..

"Jesus, I don't like this attitude in me about tithing.
Please take over it and free me from this bondage..
If I run out of time and too slow to learn, pleeeeeeaaase RELEASE me
from this. I will tithe without having thoughts of trying to impress you
like saying " Look Lord, I tithed! You should bless me too!" ..
I don't like that attitude Lord.
When I tithe.. I want it to come from heart and says,
"Jesus, here's all what I have to give you for everything that
you've done in my life..I take you as my partner in life now and
please take this as an appreciation and a bond between you and me.
This I pray in Jesus mighty name....

AMEN!"

For the meantime, let me share this wonderful daily devotional

from Ps Joseph Prince with you.

Hope it will set you free from any bondage of "worrying" in any
areas of your life.

Me? I don't need to worry about thie "tithing" issue in me.
For my Abba, should know what to do.
Gently He will guide and lead me...For sure He will do the same to you.

Good morning everyone.

"How Much More Will God Take Care Of You!"

Matthew 6:26
26Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Perched on a tree branch, two birds were observing passers-by rushing from one place to another. Looking at their faces, one bird asked the other, “Why is man so full of worries and cares?” The other bird answered, “Maybe they don’t have a heavenly Father like we do.”

I believe that the Lord made birds to tell us that we are of more value than many birds put together. In Matthew 10:29, Jesus said, “Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin?” Then, in Luke 12:6, He said, “Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins?” If you do the math, you will realize that these sparrows are so cheap that you can buy four of them for two copper coins, and you get one thrown in for free!

Sparrows are common creatures in Israel. Yet, not even one of these cheap birds falls to the ground without the Father’s knowledge. (Matthew 10:29) Not one of them is forgotten before Him. (Luke 12:6) So will He forget you who are of more value than all these birds put together?

Jesus said, “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them.” And if your heavenly Father feeds the birds of the air, how much more will He feed you, His precious, beloved child!

“Why don’t I see the supply then?” you may ask.

The answer is worry. That is why Jesus also said, “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’… For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” (Matthew 6:31–32)

Beloved, if your heavenly Father cares for cheap, common birds, and feeds them every day, how much more will He care for you, His dear, precious child! Let your heart be at rest as you hear Him say to you, “Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” (Matthew 10:31)

God Hears Your Prayers

Because of this TRUTH...God has become my bestfriend.

Enjoy this powerful message from Ps Joseph Prince peepz and BE BLESSED!!!

God Hears Your Prayers

Romans 4:7–8
7“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; 8blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”

Some people think that if they were more “right” with God, then He would hear their prayers. For example, they sometimes believe that if they had not quarreled with their wives or had those bad thoughts earlier in the day, then God would answer their prayers.

God is not like that. He wants you to know beyond any doubt that you can always come to His throne of grace with boldness and have every confidence that you will receive His mercy and grace. (Hebrews 4:16) You see, because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross, you are already right with God. You don’t need to do anything to make yourself more right with God.

In fact, by faith in Jesus, you have received the righteousness of God Himself! (2 Corinthians 5:21) And no matter how many mistakes you make, you will never lose that righteousness because in the first place, God gave it to you apart from your works. (Romans 4:5–6) In other words, God did not impute righteousness to you because you were good, but because you believed in Jesus.

Because of what Jesus has done for you at the cross, all your sins — past, present and future — are forgiven. God will by no means ever remember your sins or count them against you! (Hebrews 8:12, 10:17)

My friend, because Jesus has been punished for your sins, today, God is not counting your sins against you. This means that your sins won’t stop Him from hearing and responding to your prayers. So you can always run into His presence knowing that you can boldly stand in and enjoy His presence and His love.

When you know this truth, it is going to set you free in your relationship with God. You can talk to Him without fear or any sense of condemnation. You can practice His presence and trust that He always hears you. Should something happen at home or at work, you don’t always have to call for your church leaders — you pray and God hears you!

Beloved, you are righteous in Christ and God hears your prayers — all because of Jesus!

Ask In Jesus’ Name And Receive

John 16:23
23“… Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.

Do you always end your prayers with “in Jesus’ name”? Maybe your Sunday school teacher taught you to do this, or maybe you have heard church leaders and other believers utter it at the end of their prayers.

I used to say “in Jesus’ name” very quickly as if those were magic words that would get my prayers answered. Then, one day, I heard the Lord asking me why I was doing that.

The Lord wanted me to realize that whenever I pray and say “in Jesus’ name”, I am putting my entire faith for my prayer to be answered not in who I am or what I have done, but in the person and name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and what He has done at the cross!

Whenever we ask God for anything in Jesus’ name, Jesus says to us, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.” This means that in your prayer for healing, when you say “in Jesus’ name”, healing comes over your sick body because it is by His stripes that you are healed. (1 Peter 2:24) In your prayer for protection, when you say “in Jesus’ name”, you are kept safe because the blood of Jesus protects and delivers you from evil. (Exodus 12:13)

Beloved, the good name of your family cannot save you. Your pastor’s name cannot save you. Even the name of the latest medical breakthrough cannot save you. Only one name under heaven can save you — Jesus! And the good news is that His name in Hebrew, Yeshua, means salvation — healing, preservation, wholeness, wellness, provision, prosperity, safety and deliverance for you and your family!

So these days, whenever I pray, I slow down at the end of my prayer and say, “Father, I ask all this not based on what I have or have not done, but based on Jesus and His finished work at the cross. I ask all this in Jesus’ name. Amen!”
