Hope That Does Not Disappoint by Joseph Prince
Romans 5:5
5Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Today, we express hope as if we can’t be sure what will really happen. We say, “I hope I will win that prize. I hope it won’t rain tomorrow. I hope everything works out well.”
But “hope” in the Bible is a confident and positive expectation of good. God wants you to have a confident expectation of good because as His child, He favors you. Because Christ is in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27), you can expect the glory of God to shine into every area of your life, including your family, job, ministry, health and finances!
God’s Word says, “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” You may have experienced disappointed hopes, but there is a hope that does not disappoint when you are conscious of how much God loves you. It is a hope that springs from the heart of God, who loves you very much.
It is interesting that the first mention of the Holy Spirit in the book of Romans is tied up with the love of God. The book of Romans is considered foundational for Christians. Could it be that the first thing the Holy Spirit wants to do is to establish in our hearts that God loves us? Many people think that the Holy Spirit has come to teach us about power. But the truth is that the Holy Spirit has come not to reveal the love for power, but the power of love!
My friend, you may have just lost your job. But if you can say, “Jesus loves me this I know,” you can also say, “I believe that I will get a better job tomorrow.” Your girlfriend may have just left you for your best friend. But because you can say, “Jesus loves me this I know,” you can also say, “I’ll meet a better girl.”
When you believe that God loves you, you will have a positive expectation of good. You will have a hope that does not disappoint. So be careful what you hope for because you are bound to get it!

You should never allow yourself to speak of how you feel.,.
.... nor permit others to ask you how you are feeling;
you should never concede that you are ill,
nor permit others to talk about disease or pain or death or similar nonexistences in your presence.
Such talk only encourages the mind to continue its empty imaginings."

Rest And Find God’s Grace by Joseph Prince
Rest And Find God’s Grace by Joseph Prince
Luke 2:40
40And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.
The verse says that the grace of God was upon Jesus. The Bible also says that where sin abounds, grace abounds much more. (Romans 5:20) And when you put the two together, you may find yourself asking, “If the grace of God was upon Jesus, does it mean that He sinned?”
No, Jesus did not sin. (2 Corinthians 5:21) So there must be another explanation as to why God’s grace was upon Jesus. There must be another explanation as to why someone can abound in God’s grace even when he has not sinned.
Let’s look at the word “grace” when it is first mentioned in the Bible. Genesis 6:8 says that “Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord”. Noah’s name means “rest”. So the verse is telling us that rest found grace. In other words, when you rest, you find grace!
So grace was upon Jesus because His life was a life of rest and trust in His Father. He said, “The Son can do nothing of Himself. He can do only what He sees His Father doing.” (John 5:19)
Likewise, grace comes upon you when you rest and trust God. If you have a wayward child, stop nagging at him and trust God to handle the problem. Say, “Jesus, I commit this boy into Your hands. I cannot control him. You can.” If you have a persistent pain in your body, bring it to the Lord. Say, “Jesus, I hand all my worries about this pain to You. You work on the pain.”
“Pastor Prince, what if nothing happens?”
Honestly, if after you have given the matter to Jesus and nothing happens, what can you do? If Jesus Himself can’t do anything about it, do you think you can? But praise God, once the problem is handed over to Jesus, He can and will do a perfect work of taking care of it for you!
So live a life of rest. Have this attitude and tell the Lord, “I can do nothing of myself. I just rest in You Lord and I trust You.” Beloved, what you will see is the grace of God upon you in every situation of your life!

Jesus' TRUTH shall Set You Free!
I have been through alot of difficult circumstances.
At work, in my personal life, family or relationships.
When something unacceptable happens or that is meant to happen,
I pray.
If it gets solved. I'm happy.
Then I start to live life again hoping that everything will go on smoothly.
Yes. I can only hope.
As a newbie Believer who had little knowledge of who really God is and Jesus, as my Savior. All I could do was pray, hope, and just be very patient on whatever came my way.
It was a cycle of "breathe-eat-live-battle some problems-depression-frustrations-hope-pray-breathe and live again" routine.
In my mind and heart, I knew something was not right.
There was more to Christianity than just having all these at hand.
So I asked Jesus,
"Jesus, I thought if I believe and accept you as my Savior, everything would be ok. Then why is it that these heartbreaking, unwanted events in my life are still happening to me?"
Then He replied to me with a verse,
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
-John 16:33
Then one day, it just came to me.
Yes!
In this mad-fallen world, anything weird can happen.
sickness, accidents, tsunamis, H1N1, earthquakes, problems, stress, heartaches ...Tribulations indeed!
We have no control of that.
And that's what makes it the most frustrating part. I know.
But guess what!
In our human realm,
It's hopeless.
But in God's realm,
It is finished!
Because Jesus said in John 16:33, "TAKE HEART! Because I have overcome the world!"
Yessss!
The battle has won by Jesus when He was crucified on the cross!
His blood, wounds and death has become our protection, healing, blessings, favor and LIFE!!!
All we need to do is to
TAKE HEART.
BELIEVE.
And
REST.
Jesus has become our PEACE.
No more struggling with whatever symptoms you have in your body.
Just say, "Thank you Jesus for by Your stripes, I am healed!"
If so much fear creeps in you and you feel that your condition has worsen and you really find it hard to believe that you've been healed, you can take meds or go to the doctor, but before you do that, listen to me, just say,
"Jesus, this will be the last time that I'm gona take this med or go to the doc, because in You I am healed. I have victory over my sicknesses Lord because of what You've done in the Calvary! Amen!"
You see, knowing these TRUTHS are very important because in it comes your Victory.
Our Victory in Jesus' mighty name!
"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
John 8:32

Right Place, Right Time by Joseph Prince
Right Place, Right Time by Joseph Prince
Ecclesiastes 9:11
11… the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.
God’s Word tells us that being faster, stronger and wiser does not automatically make you a winner in life. No, it is actually being at the right place at the right time that causes you to receive blessings. And God, who holds time and chance in His hands, is the only one who can put you at the right place at the right time.
He did this for Ruth. She trusted God for favor when she went looking for a field in which to glean. (Ruth 2:2) Then, the Bible tells us that “she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech”. (Ruth 2:3) Of all the fields in Bethlehem, she happened to end up in Boaz’s field, and he was a close relative of Elimelech, her father-in-law. This meant that Boaz was her potential kinsman redeemer, someone who could redeem her from her plight as a young, childless widow in a foreign land.
Boaz also happened to be “a man of great wealth” (Ruth 2:1), and as it turned out, he was willing to redeem Ruth. (Ruth 4:9–10) All these right happenings could only mean that God had placed Ruth in the right place at the right time.
I believe that the very day Ruth told her mother-in-law that the God of Israel would be her God (Ruth 1:16), God took note of it and made everything happen right for her.
Today, God also wants you to know that because you have said, “God, You are My God,” He will be your God of divine happenings. He will place you at the right place at the right time, where you will meet the right people, do the right things and even escape danger!
You may not know where all the great opportunities are, but God does. He was the one who put in you the skills, talents and gifts that you have, and He knows where you need to be, when you should be there and what you need to be doing to be truly fulfilled!

Go Forth Neither Poor Nor Feeble! By Joseph Prince
Go Forth Neither Poor Nor Feeble! By Joseph Prince
Psalm 105:37
37He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes.
When the children of Israel were slaves in Egypt, they lived in poverty and faced daily hardships from their cruel taskmasters. Scars and fresh lashes from their masters’ whips covered their bodies. The blistering heat of Egypt caused excruciating sores to fester. Many of them were bent over because of the long hours spent carrying tons of bricks and mortar. Slaving away for long hours under harsh conditions added years to them. And with no proper nourishment, many of them were feeble and emaciated.
But something happened to them on the night of the Passover. (Exodus 12) With the blood of the lamb applied on their doorposts, they came under God’s protection. And inside their homes, as instructed by God, they ate the lamb roasted in fire.
I believe that those who were blind ate the eyes of the lamb, believing that the perfect eyes of the lamb would give them perfect vision. If they had heart conditions, they ate the heart of the lamb, believing that their hearts would beat strong again. And if they were lame, they ate the legs of the lamb, believing that they would be frisking like lambs.
And when morning came, something new and miraculous happened to them. They went forth with God no longer as slaves but free people. They were no longer poor and needy, but possessed silver and gold given to them by the Egyptians. And none of them — there were about 2.5 million of them — were feeble or sickly!
If this was what the children of Israel experienced after partaking of the Passover lamb, which was only a shadow or type of Christ, how much more will we who have come under the covering of the holy blood of Jesus, the true Lamb of God, experience such blessings?
When you put your trust in the Lamb of God who was burnt by God’s fiery judgment meant for us, you will go forth daily, neither poor nor feeble, but richly supplied and divinely strengthened in Christ!
