Flipping The Switch (JesusCallingForKids iphone/ipadapp)

Flipping the Switch

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
—Psalm 118:1

When you thank Me for the difficult things in your life, suddenly they are no longer as difficult. How this works is a mystery.

But if you will give Me thanks—even for the things that make you sad or upset—then I will give you Joy. And you can have that Joy no matter what is happening.

For those who don’t know Me well, thanking Me for heartaches and hardships seems impossible—even silly. But if you step out in faith and thank Me, you will be blessed. You may still be in the same yucky situation, but it will be as if someone flipped on the light switch in a dark room. You’ll see things in the Light of My Presence—from My point of view—and realize that you aren’t alone. My Presence will make your troubles not so troublesome.

Love,
Jesus

The Best Gifts Ever (JesusCallingForKids iphone/ipad app)

The Best Gifts Ever

Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
—Luke 24:36

Think about the best gift you’ve ever gotten: that new computer, the cool video game, the bike you kept seeing in the store. They’re all nice gifts.

But I have much better gifts for you. Gifts of supernatural proportions! They are My Presence and My Peace. These gifts never get holes in them. They never need new batteries. And they never go out of style.

They also can’t be purchased at the local store or off the Internet. There is only one way to get these gifts. And that is to come to Me with a thankful, trusting heart.

I created you to glorify Me. This means you can never spend too much time praising and thanking Me. Praising Me says you know that I am God and you trust My control over your life. Thanking Me opens your heart to receive My Presence and My Peace—the richest, most awesome gifts of all.

How to believe in Jesus

It is not easy to believe in Jesus because you have not seen Him in person yet. But I tell you,
You can see Him in the Bible.

In the Bible, He is alive, conversing with you and telling all His promises to you.

You don't need to feel Him.
You just need to look through His words.

Just talk to Him through your heart.
...and faith...effortlessly will fill you in.

Yes. That easy.

In Jesus, you don't need to struggle.

You just need to rest.

Amen.

Instagram sooooo mean???

I don't know what went wrong with my @Jesusdailyphoto instagram account that suddenly without warning or notification instagram disabled that account.

That account got 13,000 Jesus followers already and have posted my most favorite ,inspiring and beautiful photos not only about Jesus but reality of our daily lives as well.

I have poured my deepest thoughts in there.

Tsk. So sad. Just because it's free and public some social network giant could just take it away like that.

Yes. They may have the power to do so. Let them be.

As for me, I still have this blog
and I think, it's better to stick in here.

It's safer to stick in here.

So from now on,
I'm gonna slowly repost my @Jesusdailyphotos in here.

I might have to start from scratch but no worries. It's all for Jesus anyway!

And...surely..

Jesus.... His spirit in me will guide me.

I believe there are always new things to share about.
I am so blessed by them.

:)

Still, I'm hoping that instagram will return me back that account.
Because I know a lot of believers needed it. Praying...and talking to Jesus now.

Jesus, I give it all up to you.

Think you got a job to do in here.

Amen.

Focus On Jesus

A Better Way

In this world you will have trouble.
But be brave! I have defeated the world!

—John 16:33 (ICB)

You tend to approach problems as if you were going into battle. The problem becomes the focus of your thoughts. Your mind and body tense up as you prepare to fight. It’s the ultimate battle: “You versus The Problem.” And if you don’t win a total victory right away, you feel defeated.

There is a better way. It doesn’t have to be a winner-takes-all fight. When a problem starts to take over your thoughts, talk to Me about it. Step back and get some space between you and your trouble. Let Me show you things from My point of view. You’ll probably find that it’s not really such a big deal.

There will always be trouble to face in this world. But what matters is that you always have Me on your side. When you remember that I’m the all-time Champion who defeated the world, big things get cut down to their real size. You’ll be able to see that your problems aren’t so serious after all.

What's On Your Mind?

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
Philippians 4:8

"What’s On Your Mind?"

It takes a positive thought to replace a negative one. You cannot eradicate negative thoughts just but using your willpower. God’s Word tells us, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6–7).

If you read on, it also says, “…whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”

So beloved, replace your thoughts of worry with thoughts of His pure, immeasurable and unconditional love for you. Turn your cares into prayers by casting all your cares to Him as you meditate on how He truly cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Don’t hold on to your worries any longer. Let go and let God be the Father of favor, wisdom and supply that He wants to be to you. Keep meditating on His promises for you in His Word. Thank Him that because of Jesus, you have a blood-bought right to have a mind free of worries and stress today!
